I've been diagnosed with cancer so all future projects will have to put on hold until this gets taken care of. In a couple-few months, there will be a tape of new material on Self Abuse & artwork plus track in the next volume of Neuesachlichkeit along side of a bunch of other degenerates.
If I owe you trade, I'll get the packages together in the next week to get mailed. Beyond that, please keep a note of what I owe you & I'll get it to you when things straighten out. I'm just not sure what's going to happen, how I'll feel, etc.
If you want to keep in touch, feel free to write bitewerks556 at gmail.com If you have any personal experiences, I'd like to read them. I have colon cancer that has spread to my liver.
Take it easy & thanks for the support!
Can someone who knows Keith personally make a GoFundMe page so that people on here can donate to help offset the cost of medical expenses?
Fuck man, sending you my best wishes.
Damn, this is truly saddening news but I absolutely wish you the best. Tell the tumors you're gonna tie em up, take em down and that'll be it.
Sending some good juju Keith....

I'll be uploading my side of the Agonal Lust tape soon, as well.
Stay tuned for a limited edition Heat Signature cassette with special packaging that will be sold to benefit Keith's medical expenses.
Worst news, wishing you all the best Keith!
All the best on your side Keith. Get well soon man.
Really sorry to read this bro, if there is anything I can do to help let me know. I will be in touch asap.
Freak Animal/IR has sent pretty much all the remaining copies of all to Mania/Taint titles to Bitewerks.
Those in USA, who do not own them (Taint "Indecent pleasures" cd, Mania "ultra-negative", Mania "Foul inside" 3", Mania "All aftermath" tape) and don't like ordering overseas, can get them soon in USA. I recommend to get in touch with Bitewerks and buy them directly to support artist.
All CD's are almost sold out, so that should be another good reason to grab them now if you have thought they will remain in-print forever.
Also, needless to say that releases are fucking brilliant.
There are merely handful copies that remain here.
I'll donate the money of sold copies to artist who I have worked with & stayed in touch regularly since 90's.
A quick update: I see the cancer doc on Tues for the 2nd time & today I had a stint installed internally to get the bile to go where it's suppose to & the external drain was removed. I also had my port installed which is what hooks me up the chemo. My bile levels have to normal before I can do the killing drugs so, hopefully, that'll happen in the next couple of wks.
Once again, thanks for all of the support esp. to Concrete Mascara for the killer root beer candy, Mikko for the huge box that's on the way, & a long-time friend who runs Pallbearer Press for a big contribution.
Not hauling around a bag of bile makes me feel a bit better so I'm going to try to get something recorded over the weekend...
For any order coming until 31/10, 50% goes to help Keith and his medical bills.
This includes Audio Dissection titles as well distro items. If you need to grab last copies of Mo*Te reissues, Noise War boxset, Americanoise 2xCD (feat Taint) or the Encephalophonic "Alone" 7" (artwork by Bitewerks)..this is the right time.
I wish you get well soon, man.
Have made a new Mania T-shirt, and a reprint of the lathe 7" from earlier this year. 100% of the profits from both of these items go directly to Keith.

Fuck. And here was me thinking I had a shitty week! Get well soon fella.
I'll be donating the proceeds from the T.E.F. / A FAIL ASSOCIATION 7" released on WCN last week to Keith. I've got about 25 copies left, so help me sell it out so I can get some money into his account. Good to see people kicking in.

Holy fuck, I just found out I start chemo next Wednesday! Seems like I was getting one step closer then going two steps back due to dealing with getting financial help through the oncologist (a HUGE chunk is covered!). Finally going to start killing this crap!

Total support Keith!
Yeah, total support brother. Keep your chin up.
Like everyone here I'd like to add my support and encouragement to whatever you need to do Keith.
Still week ago he was on forum, enthusiastic and optimistic.
Unfortunate news are, that despite some promising developments and strong spirit, Keith has passed away.
Despite illness, he was going strong. There is MANIA new tape for Self Abuse that he told to be out soon.
We had the new MANIA CD finalized ready-to-press condition and was meant to come out January.
I got to re-consider when it should be done.
How I see it, man was already living legend and won't be forgotten.
No further words at this point.
This is terrible news, he seemed to be in such high spirits that I was sure he would beat it. Really tragic. RIP.
If anyone knows how to get in touch with his family or close friends please let me know- I want to make sure that the money from the t-shirts I sent him last week makes it's way to his family instead of sitting in a PayPal account forever.
What ?!! Very sad news. It was really quick, and yes he seemed to be in good spirit and strong. The good thing is that he wasnt tormented by this shit. Died on his feet. Having seen family member be tormented for more than 4 years till she finally died, i feel that's really important. To go fast as long as you are still strong. It's the second best ...
He wont be forgotten for sure, his legacy stays forever.
Condolences to his family and closed friends.
Bad day ...
Sad news ...sad day
Rest in power bro. Saddest new I could get today.
He had big influence on my stuff.
Rest in peace legend.
In complete shock.
Just heard from Marco.
Also feels like Keith was just filling me in enthusiastically about the chemo, etc.
RIP one of the most important and inspiring harsh noise and power electronics artists of all time.
Keith was a very early comrade for me. I had no idea it was this far progressed. Terrible and crushing news.
Really sad to hear the news this morning. One of the most consistently quality noise acts ever, and an encouraging conversation i had with him when I first started making noise stayed with me forever. RIP Keith and condolences to family and friends.
Terrible news!!!! One of the best PE/Noise artist forever!!!
RIP Keith!!!
An absolute legend, brilliant and kind. He will be sorely missed. RIP to a real one.
I'm really sad to hear the news. Beyond his talent and enthusiasm, Keith was just a great guy with a positive outlook on life. I always found him very funny, genuine, and down to Earth. Miss the guy already.
terrible, just terrible news
Dear Keith.
Your light and power will be missed. In this time your music and film recommendations are a comfort. Living legend. RIP.
I just heard the news today. It is very sad. Mania will always be one of my favorites and biggest inspirations.

Shocking and sad news... he had emailed me a little over a week ago to say he'd just recorded material for a collab we'd talked about a while ago before he got his diagnosis. I was really surprised, I thought, "Damn what a trooper", that must be feeling pretty decent...
Though he might not have really embraced the term in the context in which I mean it, I always considered him one of the few true ARTISTS operating in this field. May he Rest In Peace.
Very sad news. Rest In Peace.
he will be missed. RIP.
Usually I don't post in nowhere, but I had a bad feeling when I knew about the Keith cancer, due the high mortality rate in digestive system cancer. Anyway, Keith was and is still the inspiration for a lot of noise/PE makers. The Keith essence never will die.
After seeing Mikko's initial post about Keith's passing, I read his obituary and it's just a very unfortunate situation. Not the news anyone wanted to read or expected.
I will always be honored sharing split releases together and his influence will certainly live on for a very long time. I'm going to miss getting the random emails from him talking about the latest blu-ray release of some euro sleaze or giallo movie. Take it easy Keith.

Goddamned! Taint was among the first noise acts I discovered. Liked every release I heard since and Keith was certainly one of the good guys as far as I'm concerned.
R.I.P. Keith... :(
Together with Mania / Taint / Human Skin Lanterns / BizarreϟϟMania / Bitewerks one of the greatest artist of the harsh noise / industrial / power electronics scene...
Wow. RIP Keith - his work is eternal.
respect + thanks for the support!
terrible news
and terrible human drama
RIP
Respect to his memory.

Total Slitting of Throats / Edwige as well.
I think that the influence of TAINT is unfathomable and could never be undermined.
As far as Keith's recent activity, his part of correspondence and output will leave an open gape in the 'scene' that no one could fill
Keith's project TAINT was my first introduction to truly dark and brooding power electronics.. initially it was too much for me. Now it regularly plays on youtube (I could never afford secondary market prices for the releases i'd like to own, but this doesn't matter).
My thoughts and condolences are with those who were close to Keith, and his family. Its really heart warming to see that people held him in high regard not only for his creative output, but also as a human being. Rest in Peace/Power!
Very sad day. RIP

Mania, Taint, collabs and anonymous one-off projects have always been some of my favorites, Mania especially. An undeniable inspiration in large form of any music I've ever done. A massive loss to anyone who listened to or corresponded with him. RIP
Early on in my listening, Keith's work and his myriad collaborations spurred a deeper investment into idea and subject-driven noise and ultimately inspired me to try at making my own. I'll miss the unabashed enthusiasm which came through in his posts on the board. His unpretentious support of the contemporary scene was inspiring. Rest in peace, Keith. What a body of work to leave behind.
Sad news indeed. Keith was a great guy to hang with and very encouraging when I started making noise back around 1999. As for his work, its greatness speaks for itself.
The mania of vision is positively infectious. And will never die.
Horrible news. All of his projects are hugely influential to me. His dedication to his craft really showed in the attention to detail in both music and visual compositions. Absolute legend. Rest in power.

Indeed, I can't think of a better way of putting it. A huge loss to the scene.
I've been listening to his releases over the last couple of days and there is no chance Keith will be forgotten.
Inspirational/legend/master of his craft.
R.I.P.

So I am a newb to his work.

Absolutely terrible news.
Taint was one of the first noiseacts I heard when I first started listening to it.
Rest in peace Keith!
All thoughts to your friends and family.
I just heard the new from a friend now. Keith is a goddamn legend. One of the few standing at the absolute pinnacle of noise for decades. Great guy to boot. Rest in power brother, you will be missed.

I'd say 'Indecent Liberties' is solid starting point and probably the easiest of the TAINT albums to find right now because it was re-released fairly recently by 'Freak Animal/Industrial Recollections' if you just wanted to dive straight in?
Justmeat.
Perverse.
Whoredom.
Misogynist Lust.
Vice.
Sex Sick.
Nicole 12 & Taint 'Candyman' (*)
Are all powerful, bench mark albums. I'm sure if you put any of these titles in a search on YouTube you'll find plenty of clips to check out.
Personally, I say just dive into any and all of Keith's projects.
(*) also recently re-released.
RIP Keith. We only communicated a few times, wish I had the balls to talk to you beyond asking you to do a release on my label. Tremendously influential to me and my project, to say the least. I've heard rumors of a few final recordings of Keith's coming together, very excited for that. I will say also that All Aftermath, the C30 he did on Freak Animal, is just fucking incredible. It's almost as if he knew he was going to die, it's a perfect embodiment of everything that Mania was: sheer fucking perfection.
End of an era.
The Skin Crime tribute to Taint at Hospital Fest was heart wrenching- really intense and just immediately silenced the audience. He was an irreplaceable figure in the underground. I've got copies of the final (?) Mania tape on Self Abuse available now.
And if anyone is curious- his mother is aware of all paid royalties and donations and is going to be receiving all of the funds in his PayPal account
As a tribute, I'd like to share a video I made for Keith after we talked about documentaries on hookers among other things few years back
It's for the track "City Girls Do It For 30 Bucks" from Indecent Liberties
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aqAchrRzYc&t=63s
While writing this, I checked his last email few days before his death and finished it writing "take it easy! Write anytime, I'll be here... KEITH".
It still feels weird even know I've never met him. Seemed to be a really nice guy.
A portion of my streaming radio show will be devoted to music by and related to Keith Brewer. Check out the Facebook event here:
