I saw Der Krieg at an exhibition in Milan. Very intense.

A few years ago at the NYC MoMa there was a giant German Expressionist exhibition. The main attraction was a ~75 yd blood red wall with the entire series of etchings as well as proofs hanging. Overwhelming to say the least.

Also really enjoyed seeing his color lithograph portraits of prostitutes, tramps, etc.

Here is a nice collection with high res images on the moma site: http://www.moma.org/collection_ge/browse_results.php?criteria=O:AD:E:1559|A:TTE:I:2&role=1&view_all=1
