Title: iPad as music source.

I know the love of hardware, nothing can beat that feeling but...has anyone used or using iPad for serious production?  Any good apps?

Yes habibi, I downloaded the Minimoog Model D app when it was made a few months ago and I have to say the sound is incredible. Granted the signal isn't loud and you will need a VCA to boost it some but it sounds incredible!

I've no idea if what I do qualifies as serious, but yeah, I use my ipad a lot.

If you are poor, know nothing of musical theory, but still like to make weird noises with unconventional music apps (all of these apply to me), then the ipad will be your best friend, actually. There are apps available practically for free that are so good I almost hesitate to recommend them, for fear of losing my advantage. :p

But anyway, can you be a bit more specific regarding what you are after?
