yep, helsinki also... kinda forgot it cos its some kinda fullsteam event... probably like these others too... maybe its the cozy atmosphere of korjaamo that makes me never really register its existence

in any case: moha absolutely ripped yesterday, combining elements of ultra disciplined jazzcore, grind, cut-up noise and violent sound in such a fukin machine gun rapid fire.... I KNOW that sounds like a nightmare combination, and most every band who tries that is horrible... but this is so fuckin effective, it absolutely murders!

For what I quickly listened to from the internet, Moha sounded way too rimpuilu for my taste. But I'll see, Horacio Pollard sounded much better and Fun is always good, so I suppose there is nothing better to do this evening. Never been at Korjaamo before, though.

Moha was actually more horrible than I expected. Real drummer and a guy with drummachine (keyboard) playing together. Mostly it was real drums playing fill and the awful sounding machine playing blast beat. Some short, noisecorelike bursts with superfast drummachine.

Horacio Pollard was ok. Loud, digital noise. I don't know what kind of equipment was he using but a large board of pedals did he have. For most of the time it was like changing the frequency from one to another - now I play this sound - now I play this sound - and now this one. But for shortness of the show that was enough.

moha = drummachine?? its drums, dude. full of contact mikes going thru all kinds of sound manipulation machines (supercollider + more) ..... well, its not everyones fave alrite, but i can dig it on same level like facialmess or k.endo, + bonus for the DIY (self-contained unit, no need for PA, self-built light system, etc)
