Something on The Man from an academic perspective: "Worshipping the Devil in the name of God" (http://mesikammen.wordpress.com/2011/05/25/worshipping-the-devil-in-the-name-of-god/)

Many Swedes will probably remember him from this clip that made its rounds in SVT television back in the 90s. I'm sure it did a lot to boost his "nazi clown" image too.

He claimed the Swedish population was made up of 90% homosexuals. Slight exaggeration but he wasn't entirely wrong.

I wish he was alive. such popularity that he enjoys now, was totally unseen in times he was alive.
I have pretty complete collection of his books, but there is plenty of audio tapes and other rarities very few probably ever bought.
There has been decent book about him as well as document. Both unfortunately skip the occult side of things almost totally.
I´m a proud member of THS now.
I hope they reprint his books (esp. Musta magia 1&2)
I remember that for years I have been trying to track down infos about him after Luca from Wutanes Heer returned from Finland in the mid 90's where he met a peculiar guy outside ouf a a venue, sporting a mantle, a manson like swastika on his forehead and waving some sort of fire-lantern. They have talked and he mentioned him about this notorious nazi-occultist.
First time I have seen a picture of him he reminded me of Benny Hill. Then I started reading more.
It would be interesting to have some of his words in English or, even more, a complete biography.
I have also got the "Sieg Heil suomi" thing.

Another intriguing rumour is that it might have actually been Pekka Siitoin's distro from which Quorthon bought the book of demon names etc. thus shaping the black metal aesthetic to a certain degree, haha...

Well, Pekka had a good amount of publicity in the 1970s and had gotten used to being a yellow page celebrity. I'd like to know what he thought of his new-found popularity these days. Even though he was on the cover of a lot of sensation rags in the olden days, people hardly decorated their instruments with his face back in the day
as they do now (http://"http://mesikammen.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/siitoinpedaali.jpg").
I have been in contact with the production company behind Sieg Heil Suomi, but they were reluctant to give out any copies of the documentary. They were extremely surprised and wanted to know, what I was planning to do with the material...

As you're a member of THS you probably know they were reprinted as a trilogy, along with Paholaisen katekismus.

Got it
I'm bumping up this thread from a long time ago about the man himself.
I've just watched a short documentary on YouTube that seems to be a good introduction to Siitoin's history. It's also one of the few available in english. Maybe some of the Finns can share their thoughts on its content.
P.S. On this subject, there's also "Long Shadow of Finland's Führer: Life and Legacy of the Notorious Finnish Occult Neo-Nazi Pekka Siitoin" by Iiro Nordling, available on Amazon.
However, beware that this book had absolutely no editing—while it contains some interesting stories, it's quite hard to follow as it keeps jumping back and forth in time.
Over here, many of the actual national socialists absolutely loathe the man, and claim he ruined any possibility of credible political movement rise. However, fringe politics tend to have strong magnetism for... fringe people.
Way way better than this sort of irony filled documentary, is the book by Jiri Keronen, "Pekka Siitoin teoriassa ja käytännössä". Only in Finnish, and currently sold out. Like name of book suggests, its Pekka Siitoin in theory and practice. Keronen read everything man had put out there, and without typical oozing levels of irony, he actually goes through the core ideas. Explains the theories and claims, and put them into context of wider occult theories.
Anyone who has read his book, should know, he was not national socialist in style of original german movement. There is barely biological component plus very rarely obsessive white power sentiment.
I doubts there needs to be much english written material of his. You will find the similar ideas out there. His role in Finland would be more like sign of those times. If someone isn't a little bit nostalgic about media space being filled with top suicide rates, topless bars, kettutytöt, matti nykänen and pekka siitoin, I do slightly question are they even finns! haha...
