First vinyl release for these two newer Australian industrial acts. This should have been announced several weeks ago before the holiday season, however is still on track for a mid-to-late January release. Very minimal post-production from the tracks submitted leads to a decidedly raw finish when pressed to wax.
Tense, claustrophobic modular passages are laid down by Empty Vessel and interwoven with a cannibalistic disclosure. No Guard declares a bleak and enigmatic transmission with a flanged vocal delivery. Anyone who has been following these two will have some idea of what to expect, otherwise please see Empty Vessel's 'Dreamcatcher Woven In Veins', and No Guard's 'Onward, Onward,' as reference points, though these tracks are really something else all together.
Vinyl will best case scenario be available for their support of Linekraft at The Tote, Collingwood, but will also hit Minimal Impact and regular distributors.
100 copies total on 180g vinyl, packaged in transparent polyethylene sleeves, with combination colour copy and b/w toner covers.
