I'm trying to build a full archive of Noise by Japanese artists and would be happy to trade tapes from my personal collection for 80s, 90s and contemporary tape releases by artists like Merzbow, Seed Mouth but also especially artists like Incapacitants and obscure artists from the 80s.
Original issues or reissues are both fine to me.
Selected wantlist:
Merzbow: Collection:001 - Collection:010 (the original tapes or reissues)
Incapacitants: Stupid Is Stupid
Seed Mouth: Scum
K2: Materia Informis
Hijokaidan: Originals
KK Null: Maximum Lethal Dose
Hanatarash: Noisexa
Various Artists - Journey Into Pain
Various – Early Kinky Works 1983-1988
Various – Ne
Various – Ne San
(Any releases outside these titles and artists I'd be interested in too. Most of these are rare but any less rare releases I'd also be happy to trade with)
Tapes I can trade include
Jason Crumer: Ottoman Black
Wether + Sugarm
Joe Breitenbach: Outlander
Death In Death Valley: Fossil
Chefkirk + Staplefahrer: Crystal Memory Shreds
Kylie Minoise / Hostage Pageant Split
Dense Reduction: Shifting Interior
Vales: Galapaghost
Autistic Argonauts: Go-Go Rotte
Parashi: Extra Dimensions
I want to trade a euro coin for a 50 euro note. Anyone interested ?
What is meant by a "full" archive of Japanese noise?
With full I mean complete, as in many different artists, approaches and releases, so solo, collaborative and compilation releases included.

The items you're seeking are rare, expensive collector's items and the items you're offering in return are worth almost nothing. You have no chance of finding any of this stuff beyond spending lots of money and time on it. Sorry.
It feels a bit strange to be laying this out but I don't want to assume that everyone knows what I know. Have you looked up the titles on discogs? If you do that you'll see how rarely and for how much your wantlist items sell vs your tradelist.

Yeah, I'd say you're right unfortunately. It's much more of a challenge than expected. I do actually have many more releases on CD also I could trade or sell but it'll be a difficult ride to find the tapes from my wantlist in any case. I'm just really wondering how to get these, I'd love to find them.

I was thinking of taking you up on it just so I could tell the story, but... nah.
