I'm curious about the methods in which Noise and other experimental abstract sounds are created by artists and was thinking about analog sequencers and equipment that can send regular or irregular pulses to instruments or effects and how the "constraints" of using a regular or irregular rhythm in the textures can actually result in great material.
Which projects would you recommend and how do these artists use sequencers or related?
This might fall in line more with the death industrial stuff? More rhythmic aspects of Genocide Organ or Grey Wolves, even Agonal Lust used this on occasion.

Yeah, that makes sense. I have to say I know the names but haven't checked out their releases yet. Will have a listen.
Death industrial is definitely a great lead. I would add Propergol to that list. As for gear, I have seen people use Digitakt and Roland drum machines. I also saw somebody use a Korg sampler for looping and such.
I tried to figure out what BDN was using when I saw him live but was too drunk... there was definitely a Eurorack in there.

Putrefier used an Arturia Beatstep sequencer to control his modular at a recent gig in Helsinki. The Pro version with multiple channels.
Trepaneringsritualen clearly uses sequencers and samplers also. He works or at least has worked for Elektron, a company famous for their advanced sequencers in their instruments, so that makes sense.
Himukalt has also said that programming samplers and drum machines is a large part of her work.
