sweet jesus, it never stops!!!
i'm surprised to see Ex.Order, in a pleasant way!
Is any of the Egoproblem material also included on the Lasse Marhaug box set from Pica Disk? There are two Egoproblem tracks in it.
I was hoping that the third Contagious Orgasm tape would appear soon, and it did! Sweet!
Talking about Contagious Orgasm - is there any progression sound- and structurewise from the two first tapes up to this one? Considering the first two tapes are pretty free-form compared to the Tesco CD, which I must point out AGAIN, is phenomenal.

Well, this might be the "last" large batch for a while. Backlog is cleaned. I like to release things fast, so bands don't have to wait. Things just turned out that I got masters from everybody around same time. Now all I got under work progressing is complete Control Resistance CD. Some other things that has been "under work" for last 3-4 years, is all up to bands. If they'd get things completed, it may mean another pile of CD's before summer.... or another wait of years.

This is not yet totally similar to Tesco CD, but it shows kind of development from shorter pieces into kind of slowly build longer pieces. It has the same "orchestral" or should one even say "neo classical" wibe once in a while, but also full of gigantic industrial sounds, rhythm etc. These 3 CD's are good warm up to the climax brought by Tesco CD.

This CD I put out is complete Egoproblem. Pica Disc box set include two short tracks from original tape, but I'd say this has additional c. 35 minutes, making it very much worthy purchase. Pica re-issue shows the style of the studio tape, live is much more crude and raw noise. Back in 1994, this release made big impact on myself personally, and I used some sounds of it on Grunt/Lasse Marhaug "mad emperor anal" tape (the collaboration tracks). It was great moment for me to get the master and listen it in full glory.. with the previously never heard additions.

Sounds interesting... I think I will dig out my box set tonight and refresh my memory of those tracks. I think I might order this CD then.
Just out of interest - ever thought of doing some of these re-releases on tape?
Forget Zionist conspiracies, I think Finnish labels are conspiring to take all my money!

I have no plans for that. I am kind of in favor of releases being available in multiple formats, for people to buy & listen as they want. IR's purpose as label is first of all doing my own favorite things. Secondly to preserve jewels of the old times. And do it in decent economical way. And that basically happens the best in CD format. Vinyl would be nice, but for many releases impractical due length and price. Reducing re-issue as mere collectors item. Tape format, as good as it is, ruins the idea of "permanent" documentation, as it is without doubt going to decay during the decades. I feel some material is ok to simply vanish and decay to void during years. While others is nice to have in permanent record.
so great to see this amount of interesting stuff coming out, only affraid that with this ratio I am not able of getting them all so sometimes delays help to fight this frustration, keep on the good work!
Mikko, do you know who Ulex is working with on the Goldenrod track on "Terror Campaign"?
there is no information about that. Would have to ask if he remembers.
would love to see IR doing some Allegory Chapel reissues on cd, but that's just me and delirium tremens
UK customers may be interested to know that BIZARRESSMANIA, CONTAGIOUS ORGASM, EGO PROBLEM and EX. ORDER are up in the Unrest Order section now. More of the above titles will be added soon!
http://www.unrestprod.com/order.htm
I was expecting to hate my track on the Z.Cabal comp but was surprised that it was in the early style with junk metal & stupid Peter Sotos "parasite" quote (I always thought it was great how he strings together vulgarities as if they'll get more brutal but instead gets more funny).
All the IR cd's are really nice! Hope they're selling well.
For a future rel., the Z.Cabal tape, PURE FILTH, is worth looking into for a reissue. Very obscure & filthy.
That has been matter of discussion with label actually. We'll see.
Good to know! I just sold my copy & didn't get to listen to it again before mailing it. Reiss. just based on the cover art would be worth it..
The EX. Order disc is the most worthy of all the IR reissues thus far! Not slagging the others by any means, but this fucker is pure gold! I love this project...
Is there a song missing from the Ex.Order CD? The cover lists one more than can be found on the CD. If one track contains two songs (none of them seem to though) it would be nice to know which one. I never heard the original tape so I cannot compare.
Is the intent of Industrial Recollections to keep these reissues in print or only one edition?
depends of demand. Some items may be enough as it is, some may need to be re-printed.
Ex.Order disc is being re-pressed. It seems band made some mistake. Didn't notice anything myself, until few questions. All customers will be contacted + sent new replacement disc when it's ready. Distributors have been asked to stop sell it until problem solved. Covers are accurate, so don't throw things away. Only disc will change.

Ah, great service! I thought that maybe if there was a song missing it could have been offered as a free download. Repressing the disc sure is more expensive for the label but way more professional. Thanks for dealing with the problem the only proper way.
if label has underlined everywhere that these are as uncut and as complete and as unedited as possible, I didn't consider saving few hundred €€ being issue worth of ruining the reputation that would follow by leaving misprint for sale.
Which is something I'd hope would be general rule even in noise... When disc is available, I will contact everybody who bought the misprint.
What if this disc was purchased from another distributor? Will it be obtained via them or Freak Animal? Thanks for the heads up... noticed it when importing to my ipod.

All distributors will be sent replacement discs, so the customer who bough it already, gets new copy with their next order (can't obligate them to send freebies at their own costs).
What do you make with the misprinted CD's?
Just for Info, C93 put them to the new printed, thought it was a good idea,
cause its little silly to throw them away...
the macro and streicher reissues are golden nuggets. still haven't picked up the latest ones which looks great as well.
one record that should be considered for reissue is the grunt/macronympha lp, or at least the grunt material on it. probably still my fave grunt material. just raw. good blend of p.e and filthy harsh noise.
I would love to see a reissue of Atrax Morgue- Collection in Formaldehyde. Absolute industrial classic! Hands down his best and sickest work!!!

Like many early Freak Animal vinyl, there doesn't exist master tapes. Only tapes that existed, was sent to pressingplant and never gotten back. So stuff such as Grunt / Ramirez LP just remains 100 copies vinyl, and nothing else. Grunt / Macro and Grunt / Facialmess LP's both were presenting pretty nice times of change in projects nature, but I don't think re-issue will ever happen. I'm not too fond of idea of taking sound from (2nd hand) vinyl. On both, ep and lp series, perhaps numbers 011 are the first ones where tape master actually might still exists, but in many of those cases CD version already exists.

i luckily own the vinyl so i'm fine, but i think the material is worthy of a decent reissue due to the quality of the recording...too bad that the masters are lost.
also, how is that 20 minute incapacitants track? really need to pick up the assault disc.
Industrial Recollections sailed very fast up on my top ten list of labels to follow. Has so far only Macronympha "Amplified humans" and Contagious Orgasm "Impregnate". Perhaps wrong word in this context, but great cultural achievement! Looking forward to next release. For my part, I would like to see mastered CD's with The Grey Wolves and Gerogerigegege for example.
I'm sure if there is any chance of Gerogerigegege to be re-issued, there are 20 labels who can do it anytime. The Grey Wolves is probably in good hands in Tesco.
For IR, probably expected something which wouldn't be necessarily done by anyone else properly. We'll see.
Are the Grunt/Taint LP master also gone with the wind?
probably not. Should have those, but it's quite recent release to be IR's release.
I am considering to pay 25-30 euros for it so I think it's high time some form of re-release ha ha.
I think IR should consider contacting Michael DeWitt for a possible re-issue of KORPSES KATATONIK tape on Nekrophile.

Yes, definitely! That material is much too good to be unavailable.
wasn't it already done? Staalplaat connected, in cardboard slipcase. Well, lets say, it IS done. but you mean something else than Sensitive Liberated Autistiks a.k.a. Subklinikal Leukotomy Aphrenia Spasmophilik Lyssophobo Asphyxia Sinister Lethal Anorex?
I guess people ask stupid prices for the CD as well, but to re-issues already re-issued? I once found it from Finnish 2nd hand book/ record shop in Turku who used to import plenty of progressive music and experimental in early 90's. They had all the other discs of similar type. NON live cd, LAShTAL "Thoum Aesh Neith" cd... I guess still today you can go to dig dusty boxes of cd's and find there items they imported in early 90's, with the same price stickers.

agree on that
korpses katatonik or related reissues on IR would be great news
