Title: Magmax / Flenix releases
Post by: bogskaggmannen on March 16, 2012, 12:30:00 PM
So in relation with listening to the Des Esseintes / Magmax split LP mentioned in playlist...

What are the best Magmax releases and why?

Also, any comments on the Hudak/Menche, MSBR/Die Lebens... + Magmax/Vetrophonia splits on Flenix? Are they worth getting?

comp. track on Xerxes tape is their best in my opinion. It has the best mix of vocals vs. electronics AND the best vocal sound. Out of the two vinyl boxes, I think one was awful. Will check the name...

I like Magmax – Magmagenome and Magmax – Magmatron. Recommends!

I have the MSBR/Die Lebensmittelvergiftung 12".  Haven't listened to it for a while but one side at least is beat-heavy rhythmic noise.  It's co-released by an Ant-Zen side label.  Definitely interesting & worthwhile if you're not immediately turned off by beats because it kinda sticks out in the MSBR catalog.  I also wouldn't call it a dancefloor stomper either though.
