The release of "US Bestial Forces" has got me wondering about other compilations that exist, either available or not, that focus on PE (rather than Harsh Noise, etc., of which there are many) projects/groups from any one particular country. Please make suggestions (perhaps excluding the "Extreme Music" albums).
I'd say that the CMI comp Estheticks Of Cruelty was a good overview of the Swedish late-90's PE scene, although with some overlap into noise and dark ambient. Most of the "big" names were featured (IRM, Proiekt Hat, Iron Justice, Institut, Treriksröset, Blod) as well as of a bunch of newcomers and one-offs.

I wanted to do something like that. I prepared V/A The Report From Distant Lands - Russia, with all experimental music from this country (there is only a few PE projects). I wanted only PE but there are not so much projects in this genre. Maybe in the next part of this series (I think about Brazil or Hungary) PE will have bigger place. Anyway, if anybody (from not popular countries) has contacts with many artists, please, contact me, I am open for ideas.
Tisbo is organizing something similar related to Italy.
in the past we had "Exposing italian underground" released by Alex Papa (Healter Skleter/Mondo bizzarro). although half of it was not my cup of tea, it had amazing pieces by ain soph, atrax morgue and teatro satanico's best track.
it was a strong influence on me back then.
Going through my own collection and these are some I found....
The Sound Of Hate compilation series put out by Open Wound or Strength Through Awareness or whatever Trev Ward was calling the sub label at the time in the early 90's of which Volume 7 was a German only comp....Dagda Mor, Ex.Order, Drape Excrement, Genocide Organ, Soldnergeist...etc...
With the exception of Wertham the first Nyrkki & Kyrpä would of been a Finnish only comp :)
Americanoise comp put out by Mother Savage Noise Productions around mid 90's is a great comp, not alot of PE on it but definately PE friendly Noise not like todays hipster water down jam shit :) Death Squad, Skin Crime, Taint, Stimbox, Macronympha, Emil Beaulieau, Tropism...etc...
Were the Devastating Templaric Sounds compilations part 1 and 2 Italian only? or was it a Italian label (Biotope Art Organization) and I'm getting confused :) looking at the inlay there and there doesn't seem to be any non Italian bands that I can tell....
The 2 Extreme America 7"s put out by Knot Music, not PE again but good stuff still....Macronympha, Skin Crime, Bacillus, Black Leather Jesus, Bastard Noise, Musicide, Stimbox...etc....
Banned Productions did a great series of Japanoise comps in late 80's-early 90's called Ne, Ne Ni and Ne San featuring all the usual suspects from that era of Noise in Japan along with some ones I've never heard of since.....
What about the The Japanese / American Noise Treaty 2xCD on Relapse/Release? 1 disc to each country and probably the first time for a lot of people back then (from the metal & hardcore scene that is) to hear Noise/PE....
Looking at the Total Gape cassette comp from Negation Is Freedom and it's all U S of A PE/Noise....Bereft, Sewer Goddess, White Heterosexuals, Burial Hex, Breathing Problem, Ichorous...etc...good comp too....

I will apply for citizenship as soon either Pasi or Pekka will adopt me.
yes i've been putting together a compilation of italian stuff for a few months.
not exclusively p.e., but all possible variations of the sound we love.
Terror released a Lithuanian/Balcanic compilation recently.
I remember F&V at one time announcing plans for Filth USA and Filth UK tape comps, but nothing ever surfaced. That was years ago already so maybe those just morphed into the last couple Nyrkki & Kyrpä tapes.
Also, the new Port Out, Starboard Home 2xtape comp on Posh Isolation is all Danish projects, I think. Some really nice stuff on there.

IRON PILLAR is Swedish, but other than that, wholly Danish.
There's a Segerhuva comp LP that is all Swedish, I think? All damn good too.

Yes, though I would hardly categorize any of them as PE compilations?
IZL would probably call themselves "stateless".
Höga Nord
Discogs has it cheap so might not be all PE but well worth owning.
"Members Ov Sonic Cults" cassette from 1998 on Negative Foundation is a great sampler of Suomi Sound. A great companion to "Degenerating Finland" CD.
yeah, it has some of those bands you rarely see mentioned when talking of Finnish bands. Grey Park has done some quite nonsense during the years, but there's good 7" not so long ago and good tape on Kaos Kontrol 10 years ago.
Cold Once Turning Dust is Niko Sirkiä (a.k.a. Niko Scorpio a.k.a. singer of Thergethon). He did one very nice 7", but not much else worth buying in my opinion. I may have some copies of that old 7" in my store.
Vyöhyke has drummer of Reverend Bizarre and guy from Ronskibiitti (!). I guess 1W was Veno of Mnem right? Janko is dead, but he did some good stuff long ago. Wasn't he also Wolfs Age project who's tape was distributed by Open Wound?

UK Filth has been handled by me ever since the project collapsed. It will eventually see the light of day. Collecting the tracks is and has been a long and enduring process. It will be worth the wait.

You're releasing it on your own label, or it'll still be on F&V and you're just assembling it for him?
Anyway, interesting news. I had almost completely forgot about it but this thread somehow dislodged that tidbit from the back of my mind.
I am releasing it on Scrape Tapes. I appreciate the interest. Quite surprised anyone actually knew about the original, actually.
Are there any compilations that cover the earlier Spanish scene (the 80's preferably) someone can recommend? Looking for more of the dirty rhythmic stuff.

Try this compilation here > http://mutant-sounds.blogspot.com/2007/04/vaconspiracionlp1986spain.html
Also the
Necronomicon compilation series from the mid-80s is 50/50 Spanish/International acts of the experimental Idustrial variety
ps: i presume it's ok to throw up a d/l link seeing as it's well out of print at this stage :)
Thanks. Those Necronomicon comps look really interesting.
