On April 20 1996 in Northampton MA, I used a staple-gun to shatter a stack of 91 LP records. The longer the stapling went on, the shorter the stack got. Staples and cracked vinyl sprayed everywhere. The staple-gun was mounted with two contact-mics. Hear a short excerpt of the resulting distortion HERE:

Thanks for posting all these GX. I'm sure the Nottingham '95 burning tire thing left me with permanent chest damage, I was also at the Bradford one but due to the size of the room Nottingham seemed especially noxious. Happy days!
