Forced to lick piss off the bathroom floor. Nice touch...
I mean, if the dude's music wasn't terrible he would be the power electronic equivalent to Burzum. Living the lyrics, so to speak...

burzum...Living the Lyrics?
What?
this was talked over in some other thread already, but anyways, my three cents are:
it's somewhat woeful thing to acknowledge such vast emptiness of a human where his actions are such idiocy. is it living true PE life like that? or is it when you live a life of a scum and then try to cover it with various "fucked-up" slogans to prove your trve status? i guess quite a big percentage of white trash, rapists and overall humanity lives a "true power electronics life where they know what it means to do something painful to another person etc.". Ghoulson said that the guy from BOTC was released from prison. and I think his rock'n'roll way of living was far more respectable than the one of this forum and internet trve evil doer. he is just another pool of piss in the crowd of 7 billion people leaving nothing behind him, but a silent fart which he is sniffing himself right now. such actions just show how pathetic and miserably weak people might try to find the shelter for their ordinary deeds in some predefined group of "cult people with sick interests". it's just weak.

I share your opinion, what I wrote about earlier in different topic of this forum. There is only a little "but", what we should consider. What is art in our life? Problem is that art isn't life. It tries to describe a life but it will never be this one. Art is fiction, even if artist uses real images of our life in photos or sounds, this is only a part of so called the GREAT TRUE. Jean-Paul SARTRE lived as lucky man, he had high society/public status, he was happy married and he had a lot of money, but he wrote one of the most depressing and pessimistic works in the world. Why? This is a secret of art... Of course, this case isn't the same as artists who present active rebellion against status quo of our culture/civilization but probably this confusing comes from this same sources...
To respond on what Levas wrote...
I can only speak from the experiences I have with outlaw lifestyle in relation to power electronics. Just like in any other environment there exists certain codes of honor and unwritten rules, if you follow them doing time is no big deal, but if you act like this rat, you're most likely about to get branded.
Situation with BOTC is different - he has lived this lifestyle ever since he was born and even if I can't say I support all of his acts, on the contrary, he can be a very difficult person, but still one whom I respect and learned many important things from. He is an old school hoodlum and a dying breed, nowadays you see completely different breed.
Kyle Nonneman has nothing to do with what I associate with either outlaw lifestyle or power electronics. He has to live after the cosmic rules of karma like everyone else.... these acts just makes his work even less interesting for me to approach. If it would have happened in Sweden I have several friends who would take him for a drive to a desolate parts of the woods. Forget about this guy and don't give him more space for discussion....

There's a more detailed article.
I wonder how much of a bribe he was offering the victim?

Anyway, NOTHINGISTRUE will appear in the third part of Enycklopaedia of Industrial Music. :)
Mentally ill and cognitively deficient. It's unfortunate he didn't receive any help before others were pulled into his world and had to pay a price.
" Anyway, NOTHINGISTRUE will appear in the third part of Enycklopaedia of Industrial Music. :)" he gets in for what???? being a bully boy ! he gets in and you miss out other artists of worth !

Relax. I like being contrary. I didn't write about him because of his crime, but his activities in music. Besides, I hope to write about all artists who were or are important in this kind of music.

I would say it is definitely pushing it to say he had any worth to industrial music whatsoever... It's your book though...

I don't want to value any artist (though sometimes it happens), and my opinion shouldn't be any criterion about if an artist should have its entry or not in such book. When I write about "importance" I mean how long somebody is active, how many releases he issued and what is other activities (label, concerts, zines, etc.). What is value of that, it depends on receivers.
a split with BAAL :-D

Haha, now there is some fuckin' credibility ;)
Quote from: Brad on June 04, 2012, 03:57:58 PMor was it just frightening easy in those days for anyone to break into the PE scene? :P
Isn't it easier now than ever? But as said before, someone doing tape or CDr on some label hardly is a breakthrough. I like that labels give a chance to new promising artists, but not every choice becomes a future classic.
but I guess no need to have many topics. NIT itself hardly needs a topic. Check out

to perhaps talk about related matters.
