Looking to hear the following releases...
Noise Of Brasil Vol. I

Noise Of Brasil Vol. II
Anybody know if these are loaded up on any various blogs. Would assume I'll never track these down in the wild.
Sonic Radioactive interview -

Any chance of an update on the noisecore website?!
They look quite shitty compared to originals. One of the best element of south american noisecore was the covers. Just doing the computer print lay-out slightly resembling "clumsiness" of original.. too bad. I guess it could be somehow favor to culture to make some of these recordings heard wider before tapes rot completely.. but we'll see.
very much into brazilian noisecore, would be great to see some reissues of ancient classics in the future. mikko : if by any chance you need help translating some old interviews or something like that just let me know.
I do have bunch of portuguese noisecore/grind magazines of the era. I don't really have means to put things online. No accounts on blogs, no file drop accounts, no youtube, whatever.
As much as I don't really like what bootlegging has become, I do like some old fashioned "fan releases". Which were made out of respect, to cultivate & worship. I have few times considered if making some non-profit bootleg CD box of 20 year old noisecore demos would be good idea. And obviously give freebies if anyone actually involved can be found. If profit is not involved, it's not that different to load on internet or to disc.
I'll bump for the sake of it...

Some of the best noisecore of the 90s came from various South American countries. Finding originals isn't very likely. When trading, I ran into a lot of bands that would send a master cassette and a master J-card, or a bunch of photocopied J-cards, to dub and assemble on my own to sell and trade. It was a smart, inexpensive system to distribute their recordings. Jason from Suppression ran a really nice little tape distro by this method. Andy/Mortville was ripping and sharing some great noisecore from SA on his blog. I'm not sure if the links are good any longer, but that would be a good resource to check. Dig around through it.

Worth digging through the stock over at Overhead if your living state-side.

There needs to be a 4shared FTP of all this shit. I remember one existing for noisecore in general, has it been updated? Any help or links would be appreciated, thanks.

The clumsiness is one ov those paradoxikal noisecore qualities; I think ov that defiantly-over-photocopied quality...the text being illegible is only one duplication away...this mirrors the fidelity ov the sound.
can real noisecore be recorded on anything BUT a tape deck?
I keep making noisecore (industrial NC, speed metal NC called "Splatter", blackened NC with throat singing, etc) but making it with german microphones xlr'ed into digital hi-fi computer and I don't know if I am successful yet. because the power ov noisecore is in it's fidelity which is like its heart.
I think this Brazilian comp is the same guys who did the (KIILLERR) 4-way with GROSSNESS (bulgaria) on it?

Frank Atrocious Madness/Lebenden Toten/Whisper in Darkness is a master of that noisecore/Nth generation photocopy rounding of the edges and manipulative shading graphic design. All manual. No digital.

Right.
even lower 'production values' than handwritten; cut out pieces ov paper text and scotch-tape it to a coffee stained porn with an oily glossy stock cover depctiing someone morbid;ly OBESE, I don't care WHO, with a fecal dildo, maybe one ov those specialist paraphiliak Dutch video labels like CHOC.
Lower production values than autistic one-handed singaporean blackmetal C-90 that immediately gets mixed with a Byelorussian black metal tape also generic and unmarked in any way resulting in a pandora's box ov unknown worldwide demos.
ideology should be in courier font and should be only one more duplication away from truncating the serifs and rendering the text illegible and therefore impotent.

i would like add some things to the german noisecore history. there were a lot more bands active and things happening early 90s. also austria is not mentioned yet (i know only 1 band though) ... also there are some elementary magazines missing, like the german "cadaver, corpse and bowels" magazine, as well as magazines from austria, equador, brasil, not appearing yet in this list.
i will try to find the time soon, collect information and send it to you via email ...
yep, I have lots of german stuff what would need to be mentioned... Any contributions/suggestions etc are welcomed.
i like the new noisecore site thanks Mikko
as said, impressive work. not my cup of tea, but some of the borderline projects featured have been total cult for me back in the days...
I didn't have time to check the whole site, but I would suggest to check out the activities of Paolo Petralia's SCREAM OF ANGER, the person who actually introduced me (and Italy) to grind and noisecoire.
His compilation MASTERS OF NOISE, stands as a real manifesto in that era with some big names of grind getting into even more extreme sounds http://www.discogs.com/Agathocles-Meat-Shits-7-Minutes-Of-Nausea-End-Of-Silence-The-Master-Of-Noise/release/1573979. The final stuff of END OF SILENCE were definitely my favourite.
he wrote a lot on the subject back in the days, now he is a quite well-known vegan cook and also appear on tv to teach recipies. definitely one of the godfathers of Italian underground.
One of the coolest Noisecore compilations is for sure:
Apocalyptic Convulsions 10" + 7"
http://www.discogs.com/various-Apocalyptic-Convulsions/release/1892449
Briliant stuff from AC, Meat Shits, Assuck, Exit 13, also the tracks "Heroin" of Rovsvett, "Ballad Of Ron Jeremy" of Bulge are unforgotten hits deeply manifested in my juvenile memories ...
and not to forget:
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Bllleeeeaaauuurrrrgghhh-The-Record/master/180943
brilliant
I think there was also a second chapter of that.
would you classify Pobel Mobel (not sure about the spelling) under that tag? their early 7" was a classic. Couldn't stick that song "YoYo Punk" out of my head.
There are many styles mixed up within the Noisecore scene. Psycho, Stikky, Jesus Chrust, Bulge ... is filthy punk, also Pöbel Möbel is not really different from those ... Noisecore anyway is not limited to 0,1 second tracks, but bands always integrated all kinds of styles, from related music like punk, hardcore, gore, grind to rockabilly, guitar pop, synth-pop, schlager, actually anything. Bands like Satanic Malfunctions (UK) worked a lot with cheesy synth pop melodies, the songs of W.B.I. (Germany) mostly started with a melodic guitar solo, which, however always ended in a burst of noise ...
W.B.I. - Arschbombe des Monats 12" LP (Side A)

second blurr blast is what i like the most in noisecore 7MON was the best but
NC live with axe is awesome noisecore without traditional instrument love it !

Is there any chance you could include those download links to the tumblr or maybe even upload some of the most essential releases on your own?
Most of this stuff is still pretty hard/impossible to obtain, the only thing I found was a pretty bad rip of Extermínio Brutal's 'Corrosão Radioativa'.
Great blog! Insane amount of good stuff which I had not heard before.
On a related note. If all goes well at the pressing plant new Noisecore & Filth compilation will be available in late may.

Thanks for the tip! I love many of Steveggs' projects, including Nut Screamer. Amazing if this is new material and not an old recording.
