Hard & Obscure webzine / blog is continuation of an actual printed zine that ran for three issues from 2006 to 2008. Issue #4 was in the works twice, first right after #3 and again in the change of 2011/2012. Both times I ran out of steam and ditched the zine.
However, I just couldn't throw away the interviews I did. So, starting a webzine / blog seemed like a good idea although I've never before been very enthusiastic about them. Times they change.
Hard & Obscure covers all kinds of more or less UNDERGROUND music I'm interested in, be it noise, metal, folk or whatever. Here you find interviews with artists whose work I appreciate and wanted to know more abut as well as reviews of releases I found interesting and felt I have something to say about.
It's now started with interviews with Aarni and Sadistic Bliss and more to come sooner or later.
