It is with great pleasure that I can announce the launch of the web based Spectrum Magazine Archive! Noting that Spectrum Magazine was print based, I have finally caught up with the digital age and republished all content relating to the 5 released issues on the web.
For those who have not come across Spectrum Magazine before, it existed between 1998 and 2001 and focused on ambient, industrial, experimental, power electronics and neo-folk type genres, and particularly on the sounds and scenes broadly associated with Cold Meat Industry, Cold Spring Records, Loki Foundation, Malignant Records, Tesco Organisation, etc.
To keep the spirit of the print magazine alive, you can download PDF files of all 5 back issues of Spectrum Magazine. Some additional material including unpublished material is also included on the site.
Have a look around at: http://spectrummagarchive.wordpress.com (http://spectrummagarchive.wordpress.com)
Cheers.

That didn't take long.
That's unfortunate. I had time to grab the zines, but I was hoping to check out the other stuff.
What terms could it have been violating? The magazines were being shared by the person who wrote them.
That's to bad. I bookmarked the site but didn't have time to download them this morning.
Due to the high traffic on the Spectrum Magazine Archive site since its launch, WordPress have classified it as marketing in violation of their policies. I am getting this sorted out now and will hopefully be back up shortly. I will report back when it is.
Cheers.

That was quick - looks like its back up! Let me know if you have any further issues (excuse the awful pun...).
It's down again for me at the moment.
I got a response from a 'human' at wordpress.com this morning, and they confirmed that it was an automated program which suspended the site as being spam. I gather it was the nearly 1000 hits the site got in less than 10 hours that did it!
Anyway it was confirmed that the site has been unblocked and is up again. I have double and triple checked it and seems to be publically accessible. Hopefully that is the case for all?
Let me know if it is not and I will follow up.

Thanx for the share. Looking forward to reading the issues.
