Awesome. Everything sound very interesting. How much copies about the limited editions?
69.
Everything is limited in certain way. If demand isn't there, re-press not needed and it stays in 1st edition, but I keep possibility to make more if really needed.
Excited to see the limited DVD/tape. Hopefully will have money soon to order the other DVDs.
is ltd dvd pal also?
Too bad the Animal Bizarre 1 tape doesn't come with an dvd.. Hah.
DVD's with the tape can vary, but I would say mostly PAL from european publishers.

I thought the same exact thing.
Will any of these see a US distribution? Especially interested in the Animal Bizarre tape and the DVD's, though everything sounds quite good.
No distribution is planned at this point.
Usually IOPS material is not aimed for "wide distribution", merely available from FA and if someone actively seeks to buys them for sale.
Postage is very cheap for these items, so I'd recommend direct orders from me. They won't be cheaper anywhere else, I think.
Got my package yesterday. And I must admit I am seriously impressed by everything in it.
It does what it says. I highly suggest the limited edition of the Trannie compilation. Perfection.
I have managed listening the tapes. I enjoyed everything, top quality, including Alexia and South American Great Dane!
Layouts are brilliant, serving the purpose and I highly suggest the limited edition of the GENDER WITH NO PURPOSE compilation. Luxurious black box with explicit layouts and plenty to read/watch.
Mikko, thanks for the extra DVD, the two flamboyiant guys looks like me and Pasi... pretty scary indeed ;)
That sounds amazing. I wish my boss would be quicker with direct deposits, I need these like dope.
I may have not said it very clearly, so I'll say it here:
I'm open for promotional material and contacts taken by artists & people. Those who know how IOPS releases are done, should know something about standards of material or lets say "level of commitment". Which goes little further than simply doing great noise. Which is good standard already, but not approach of IOPS.
This invitation is mostly valid for IOPS DVDr series and possibly to-be-done IOPS journal at some point. Not looking for clips you found online or selected pieces of your commercial dvd collection. Looking for live actions, self made video clips, video collages, etc. From gutter filth to artistic approach, but it has to be more than the juvenile extremism video-fart. On-topic material only.
Vol. 4 will most likely feature Snuff (fin) video, Grunt videoworks (like the first USA tour Providence backing video only shown there once) and more. No deadline, no release schedule. Done & published when seems like good time to do so.
This same policy applies to all releases. There is no urgency or absulute need for stuff to be released. It only gets done when/if it suits the purpose.
I'm more interested to hear first about topics important and obsessive for the artists. Experiences, incidents, collections, etc etc, than have them artificially adjust into some specific project theme for sake of "getting in". This allows to gather the most suitable and authentic interests into each thing what may be under plans.
Most important: No public messages about offering your stuff. PM or e-mail for suggestions and details. This will save you from humiliation of being turned down & rejected, hah..
i need to get a few of these !
Unrest Productions will be stocking ALL titles from this in the UK. I'm assuming I'm the only one in the UK who will.

can I ask you what the difference is between urinating on a bitch and a jew. there seems to be a dramatic one since the latter you wouldnt take? I just thought id ask
ive frankly been suprised that there is not more sexy noise going on especially live but maybe there will be a surge of things now that the label is offering a ticket to stardom;/
here is one vote for doing one dvd of only grunt backing videos, for some reason I think theres a lot of them. I might be mistaken though.
Ask me privately like a gentleman and I might. Try to corner me publicly like a pissy bitch and I won't.

I think most of the relevant ones are, or will be. As far as I remember, should be this. In early days had no equipment really. Visited local video-edit facility to do cheap fade-mixes of two VHS sources into one.
1st 3 was merely video collages of various sources:
-Live Lahti video (done on VHS)
-Live Turku video (vhs 1999, don't know if it exists anymore)
-Live Mäntsälä video (vhs done in 2000, don't know if it exists anymore)
then more original content of self made things:
-Deadly Actions video - to be released later on IOPS series
-USA tour 2004 video - to be released later on IOPS series
-UK gigs 2004 - already on IOPS vol. 2
-Japan tour 2005 - not sure where it is, but quite soft one
-Turku 2005 video - just video collage. Not sure if it exists anymore
-Trite - already done on dvd
-Consumer Electronics fest video - nothing special. Just still images. Quickly put together.
-Decadence of Flesh - already done on DVD
-Slave Stamina - already on IOPS vol 1
-Male Clit (shows as combination of Slave Stamina video). We'll see if there is any point publishing that. It's related to track on Nihilistic Paraphilia vol2.
-Private Show turku - slideshow or warphotos. Not worth to see without actual live show.
-Funeral Meat -video (not yet published, shown on few latest gigs)
There is some hours of material existing, which I dare to say, is sometimes pretty tasty. So series will most likely extend 3-7 more volumes, no matter do people want them or not. Just to transform the old video works in form possibly to storage relatively properly...
I thought id just watch a little bit but I ended up going through 2 and 3. good stuff and recomended! quivering flesh and all.
and kära martin, when you announce these things publicly dont expect a question privately. thats poetry and true. so jump up my ass you big baby.

I'm guessing you're trying to prove some point of hypocrisy here and you're barking up the wrong tree. I have more than proven myself by the friends I keep and by the numerous times I've taken on PC arseholes having a go at me and said friends. Prove your hypocrisy test on some whiney PC noise fag instead.

Did you receive my PM? I've tried to message you twice and I don't see them in my outbox....this forum format is strange.
yes, I'll get back to you in near future. As the rest of orders too.
There is some update programming in my distro site (2nd hand are to be installed) so might be short delays with communication.
Oh ok, I thought I fucked up and didn't send them. Didn't want to bother you anymore over PM if you received it.
Both of these IOPS tapes are great. The South American Great Dane track on Animal Bizarre 1 is incredible. Is this just a one-time project? Because really, how can they top that? I won't mention the specifics but there was a part in that track that had me cracking up, haha!
Seconded, these tapes are great. Not what I expected but in a good way. The sound is stripped down but not super raw. There a strange minimalist approach that really works by all the artists. The Grunt track on Gender With No Purpose is really really good. And both Wertham tracks kill too. Only my first listen for each, so maybe a longer review later.
I got both the tapes and they're great ! Good filthy feeling .
Obviously i'm partial for the Animal Bizzarre tape
dogfart: I really doubt it but figured I would ask before going on a hunt for used pricey copies - Is there anymore copies of Bizarre Uproar - 13/10/06?
This tape is still available from F&V (most likely) and Freak Animal. Listed as usual. Freak Animal site has search function, and with writing bands name, it'll bring all formats, including compilations.
Thanks guys. The search function on the Freak Animal store doesn't work at ALL on my home computer (I have used Forefox, a free *Nix browser and IE and neither of them worked, they all displayed an Error Message page (all white background) stating that "no search results were found" even when I searched for Grunt which I have used the search engine for. But the search engine works fine on my Laptop, which I rarely use. That's why I had to ask, I'm really interested in it (it being the BU tape) the next time I order from FA.
By the way dogfart: IOPS DVDr's were great. I didn't expect this type of quality, I also loved the main "title" page before the video truly starts, (the "intro" I guess, with some pictures scrolling by, Chapter 1 I believe). Who's track was that on the opening chapter, sounded like a Pain Nail song in a way?
sound of intro is IOPS sound laboratory productions. No really name for project, since it's just audio for intro.
I think future releases quality will only increase, when footage will be something more recent? But we'll see..
received them friday, all those items are 100% worth their money, great stuff! when i saw the IOPS intro on dvdr-s it totally excited me to see what is next of course, great intro as do have the FA dvdr-s. only saw the first 2 volume dvdr-s neither listened the tapes but all looks great!

*DAVID FREMANN "clean" book (15.00,-) NEW
Built around PureLust #124 and its advertising of sexual need, the concept of CLEAN is driven by the aesthetics of pornography and the personal predilections of sex. It rightly deifies beauty; worshipping objects of lust whilst treating with appropriate contempt the failure of the female body. 196 pages/A5 INSTITUTE OF PARAPHILIA STUDIES
*DAVID FREMANN "Destiny" book (15.00,-) NEW
Explores the predications that inform female sexual behaviour and undermines the pretensions to independence and empowerment. From preaching the abstinence message to disco sluts; from the career to Keri Sable to the mindless hope of slush celebrity to the errors of judgement that lead to victimhood, DESTINY encapsulates the joy, disgust and depression. 170 pages/A5. INSTITUTE OF PARAPHILIA STUDIES
Only text, no images!
Is there any additional info on David Fremann?
Awesome! Is this the material that is related to A Natural Basis of Order?
I don't know if author wants to be "on spotlight" so to say. Like Ryan says, he is related to two english books of similar nature that were sold in p.e. scene couple years ago. I personally think that these do offer more interesting reading. Perhaps Destiny being my personal favorite of all of these books.
I was waiting for these (from when it was mentioned through PM on Troniks) to come out so I could also pick up that other IOPS DVDr all together. Sounds like the wait will be well worth it.
cool !!! this label releases cool shit !!!

The Peter Sotos Special issue (which also features "Playground Sex", expanded)
I am not 100% sure but I do believe that photo which I posted is from that issue. I have some pages from that one scanned. I have the full interview with Sotos and the Playground Sex excerpts which is roughly 30 pages long itself, not including the interview which is about 5 pages but with small font and quite funny. Personally I like to own the material but I could, if you need it, scan/upload it somewhere such as mediafire or rapidshare.
Mikko: I was wondering if you could move the past 3-4 posts over to the Sotos thread at the proper sub-forums. I think they would get more and better responses there. But this is your forum, just an idea to keep things organized since these Sotos posts have little to do with IOPS on the surface of things.

If you are you asking about the DVDr's then no, your PS2 (unless it is imported or modded) will not play these DVD's. But I see you have access to the internet meaning you probably also have a computer, so give that a try. Almost every computer and every OS will play both PAL and NTSC.
*edit* If you are using a public computer, like at a library, than maybe it is best not to play these there.

Have you tried to rip it? If not then you should try ripping it with "Mac the ripper" (link below) because when it rips the fucker it sets the disc's region code to '0', which means it isn't PAL or NTSC, it is whatever you make it (.AVI, .WMV, .MPEG, etc). If this doesn't work (but I am pretty sure it will) just PM me, I don't want to make this thread any longer just for DVD ripping purposes.

Just received my copy of the IOPS JOURNAL & it's lovely!
yes indeed awesome journal! i hope to see plenty more of this!
Managed to watch the first two dvdr's. Phenomenal work, the Grunt videos are excellent especially the one on the first dvdr.
There was released very small runs of 4 IOPS theme shirts.
Due small runs, some sizes already run out. I thought maybe should reprint some of them, so if someone needs M, L, XL. Brand is B&C, and their better quality than the standard series. Shirts are more flexible and little smaller than for example Fruit of the loom. Print size is big. About 28 x 36 cm! (c. 11"x15"). 12 euro each. e-mail reservation in week.. Some sizes of some shirts are still available, check FA distro.

btw CoT shirt might be the rudest new shirt ive seen. I got dirty looks a few weeks ago from grannies because of a hellhammer one. a handbag to the face or granny proposing a date is likely when sporting "pierced ass, destroyed rectum"
CoT shirt is awesome. I have a friend with a syringe "bullet-belt" who needs this shirt to complete his crazy look.

yes, insert search words of "IOPS" and "Institute" and all the titles currently available gets listed. Note that one needs to use both, since some items have just acronym and some full label name...
Might be worth knowing to UK customers that both IOPS mags are available from Unrest. #2 isn't added to the webshop yet but it's here and ready to go.

Just watched IOPS vol 1 & 2 dvds, great all throughout but standouts for me was the bizarre uproar performance on vol 2 and nicole 12 throughout both discs. The conceptual videos by both grunt and bizarre uproar I personally see more as conceptual/contemporary video art. They are both great and great mixture and purpose in the use of visuals coupled with noise. Some other forms of music that use so called visual jockeys just have random images that have no connection to the music.
Should it be said IOPS 2012 !?
Soon.
#4) pure s/m video with noise soundtrack (grunt). No live actions.
#5) grunt live (ritual of mortality material) and two video clips with new 2012 grunt soundtracks.
#6) siikala performance & full lenght COT live set.
All c. 1 hour length.
this is such a great news! First 3 volumes were tasty, definitely looking forward for further perversion

Not having TV for a few months I watch a ton of DVD's or have them playing in the background and I still watch the first 3 a lot more than most other DVD's I have. Really looking forward to the new volumes.

+Vol. 2: http://youtu.be/15chYVS4Vp0
Damn, these are classics. It has been a while since I watched the first volumes...
both deleted. damn
I think there was more than 150 views for vol 1. at least.
All volumes, 1-8 are still available on DVDR format. PAL, region free. Each roughly 1 hour length. Sound and picture obviously better than in those youtube versions.
