Transistori was an excellent group here in Oulu, Finland, around ten years ago. They played hypnotic scrap metal industrial in the traditional way - rhythmic, trancelike, "tribal", whatever. Scrap metal, metal barrels, self-built junk instruments etc. People were coming in and out, and the line-up was rather big at some points I guess. I don't think they ever released anything but focused mostly on live performances, which I'd like to point out, were simply fantastic. Maybe a little bit in the vein of Militia, Test Dept, Neubauten, Crash Worship, etc.
Some days ago I was telling friends about a video thing they did - playing in an abandoned factory, utilizing both instruments and the factory itself. Shot on various cameras and edited together properly. 20 mics, no overdubs! I thought the footage was not around but just found it from YouTube, to my surprise. I recommend you check this out!
