Title: Mixer Video
Post by: tiny_tove on December 17, 2012, 03:50:37 PM
Hallo
I have been invited to take part to a performance where I will perform as caligula031. Considering I have some health problems I cannot do an average show with full frontal vocals, etc, but I am trying to find a way to do something equally effective.

I would need your help in finding a not too expensive portable hardware video-mixer that allows me to mix at least two channels (either both analogue or one analogue and one digital) live without the intervention of external software.

Basically I will pass an avi file through a dvd player and mix it with an external effect that goes through composit.

Any suggestion is appreciated. I would like to avoid using a computer with it and keep it simple.

Many thanks for the extensive information.
I will follow your leads!

the idea is to have an already edited video and mix it with an effect that transpose audio signal to video signal.

I am skilled with desktop video editing (final cut, etc.), but I never had two flows of images working together.
I might have found a solution from noisefanatics.

many thanks for all suggestions again
