Great photos but ridiculous text implying that this was all part of the dark past of psychiatry - isolation rooms, padded cells, sterilisation (voluntary rather than forced) and ECT are all still very much a 21st century reality for mental patients.

Laughing also at the picture of an old-fashioned hairdrying machine printed with the insinuation that this was some kind of sinister MK Ultra mind control technology.

Google search napicu.org.uk to find the hidden archives and extraordinary annual presentations of those on the frontline of forensic psychiatry in the UK and their current methods.
