Idea:
Walls of Solitude are festival which focuses on audiovisual projects affecting musical genres as dark ambient, dark folk, drone, industrial, noise. The idea behind the festival is bringing together these genres with the mysterious atmosphere of monuments marked by the ravages of time. In our latitudes, this subculture is maily a matter of clubs. So in place is a question how are related the monuments and this kind of art. Historical monumensts are the bearers of long past and their often melancholy atmosphere is very emotional – just as visual art full of mysterious and surprising sounds, accompanied by theatrical elements and alarming projections. If such "teatro ambienti tenebrae" is set in a captivating atmosphere of night sights, the final effect is even more impressive.

So how was it? I've heard Einleitungszeit was best. At least my roommate said that. Any other thoughts?
It was a nice festival at a great location. I think Alfarmania was a bit out of place at the festival with all the dark ambient and neofolk acts. It was our first live show in over two years but I guess things went ok. Early in the morning and no time for proper soundcheck... yet satisfied with the outcome.
Some short reviews:
Deutsch Nepal: Certainly not bad, but far from the best I've seen Lina accomplish... His bag with equipment was stuck at Berlin airport but he still managed to perform. Routine gig. Always a pleasure.
Bocksholm: Some really good sounds and interesting background visuals...
Einleitungszeit: Highlight of the festival... Waited for ages to witness this band live so I had very high expectations. Only two members on stage but enough to keep it interesting all the way. Norg turned himself into human torch. No dancing women (thank you). Uploaded some footage from my phone:

Teatro Satanico: A band I guess you either love or hate - I watched the entire show with great enthusiasm. They did mainly new material (I think)... maybe I would rather have heard their old ritual style, but this worked for me.
Yep, i pretty much agree. I have to say that Teatro Satanico did amazing and together with Alfarmania, they were the higlists of the festival. As for Einleitugszeit (my favorite Czech / Slovakian band), i would call their performance boring, compared to some early ones like on Prague Industrial Festival's or in some industrial spaces. If you have seen them on PIF 2006, they was some of true apocalyptic performance of pure industrial/noise power. Is sad, that guys completely screw the reheasals and sees each other only on live show.
I understand it was a stripped-down light version of their previous glory days. My expectations was sky high after watching VHS and youtube clips with their performances...
One of the things that disturbed me was the (hardly) amplified scrap metal objects. Probably just some technical problem, but it was hard to hear it through the other sounds. Felt like they should have done a proper soundcheck instead of rely on old routine. Not bad but perhaps uninspired.
As you say, rehearsing is essential if noise / industrial gig is to be interesting... even if shows never turn out the ways they are planned, it is the only way to make yourself familiar with sound, equipment and unforeseen occurances...
