Anyone have any scans to share of this Zine? Or Copies for sale/trade?
Any info about this zine would be most welcome.
I am assuming you already know that it was the mag published by Jason Mantis of Malignant Records? Details of the content of each mag is on discogs at: http://www.discogs.com/label/7538-Malignant-Records
In brief the mag contained an interview and a contributed track from each featured artist on a comp tape. Layout was b&w print and pretty straight forward in design. Early editions were photo copy printed and ring bound and later editions were pro-printed and staple bound. However the absolute best thing about each issue was they were PACKED with tons of information and reviews of obscure albums.
Basically Audio Drudge 7# was my gateway into all things obscure (this is pre-internet information saturation mind you), after which I tracked down as many back issues as could (most are still in my archive collection).
Also here is for an interesting fact: when Jason informed me in around 1997/98 that there would be no more issues of Audio Drudge, it actually spurred me on to create Spectrum Magazine to fill the void of the type of magazine that I wanted to read.
Here's 4 I uploaded earlier...

have issue 5 also but in .cbr file type so waiting for that to convert to .pdf, when it's done I'll add it here.
It was me who scanned Audio Drudge 2,3,6, and 7, and Spectrum 1, and 5. Thanks again re:evolution for making the other issues of Spectrum available digitally. Hopefully someday Jason won't be so busy and put up an audio drudge archive.
Did you ever convert AD#5 locustfurnace? If you want to post the cbr i can convert it. And if anyone else has old zines they'd like to sell or lend to be scanned get in touch with me.
