Similar issues to P-K's friend. Requested a replacement tape several times. Last time I sent an email, Destructive Industries claimed that "i know for a fact I have sent at least two different tapes." When I made it clear that this was highly unlikely--I receive mail at a stable address and have never had problems with post before--and resupplied my address yet again, I never even received a message back from the guy. Frustrating! Anyway, I've more-or-less given up hope of ever receiving a replacement tape, but just wanted to state that P-K's friend is not alone in his issues with the label...
Destructive Industries has been without internet service for a month or so I've let him know via text about the above issues. He has promised to attend to the issues when internet access is restored. Living in Mississippi must suck.
Thanks for looking into this and contacting the guy, SB! I got an email back from Destructive Industries yesterday. Apparently another effort is being made, so perhaps my situation may be heading towards a better resolution. I'll mention it here if there's happy news.
Don't necessarily want to keep this thread going forever, but do want to note that I received a replacement tape today (sent with delivery confirmation), and that in the end Destructive Industries made a really big effort to set everything right. I consider all of my issues totally resolved, and everything ended on a much better note.
