One hour of brand new material from this perennial American heavy electronics artist. This collection gathers together a multitude of field recordings and live sound sculpture to present four distinct and meditative moods that are complimentary to one another in many regards. BAST has taken the project to new levels of cold meditative exploration on this new release, a diverse and arctic group of selections that is as beautiful as it is deadly. Pronounced "PAYst," PEIISTE has existed for seven years as an American heavy electronics group. A duo consisting of Joseph and Vanessa Gates, recordings range from psycho-acoustic exploration to full-on apocalyptic harsh electronics. This current release was culled from sessions that were recorded for another label back in 2012 but remain unreleased. This is the fully remastered and properly edited version of this composition, and represents a studied and violent wash of textures over the listener akin to a splatter-punk neon exsanguination of the transformative implications of the star gate sequence in Stanley Kubrick's film "2001: A Space Odyssey." We are here to go. Color gatefold j-card with insert.
