Two blistering new tracks from PEIISTE - "Astrophysicist" and "Timemaker," alternately some of the harshest and most beautiful tracks that this group has produced. PEIISTE is a seven-year veteran of the American heavy electronics scene founded in Louisiana and currently located in Texas. Music that the duo has produced ranges from lulling psychedelic ambient to harsh vortexes of pure sonic power. This cassette presents the first new session from PEIISTE since the recording of their "ULTRAHEAD" release composed and performed for the FANTASY 1 label. "ASTROPHYSICIST" explores a techno-organic future where congolese drums battle for survival with cloud swarms of ionic electronics. Unrelenting and experimental, this first track restores the constantly-moving-forward attitude that PEIISTE has come to exemplify. "TIMEMAKER" is a return to the sort of dream-like ambient zord metal that PEIISTE is well known for. "ION" blends harsh acoustics and lush ambient electronics along with several unrecognizable electrified strings to bring a cacophony like no other.
