Was just going to post about the same... I remember that there were some journal articles repeated in the Amok Jornal that dealt with the effects of ultra and infra sounds. Must dig out my copy.
The mighty Eric Lunde once built a sound weapon out of an ipod and pvc pipe among other things. I remember footage of him using it in a field from days past.

remember genesis p-o and monte cazazza subjecting local 'trevellers' with infrasound frequencies to disturb them-he relates they left their illegal site soon after.
also shops emitting high frequencies to disturb local teen delinguents- apparently vulnerable to this to break up congregating gangs.
