"Taring the Horizon", the second album of the noise/industrial/black metal artist Absolute Key (A. Klemi of Circle Of Ouroborus), shows more concentrated visions and songwriting but still the music follows its instincts and the call for chaos, songs varying from doomcrawls to raging walls of noise and from bizarre electronic beats to sinister synth-ridden black art. Lyrically "Taring the Horizon" paints a spiritual/metaphysical journey from this world to another, and maybe this all is connected to the modern world too...

The Lost Gesture is a hidden word buried in the stars. Combining black metal, noise, ambient and industrial elements, this album shows itself as a broken mirror, where everything is shattered and fractured but still there are the same eyes looking at you from the every fragment. Open your mind, expect unexpected, consummate the ritual.
Formed in the beginning of 2019, Absolute Key is a solo project of A. Klemi (Circle Of Ouroborus), and after two demo tapes, The Lost Gesture opens the doors to wider visions. The album was released in tape (Purge Unit) and in CD (Death Knell Productions) format in December and will be released later in vinyl format by Avgrundsklanger Productions.

"Sundust" (Nekrogoat Heresy) - two long collages mixing Current 93's old albums, monk choirs, squeaks and creaks, apocalyptic sounds and mid-tempo black metal together. Sound samples coming later I guess.
"The Third Level of Decay" (Signal Rex) - bleak and monotonous drum machines, synths buried in dust and rust, improvised two cent BM riffs and creeping insanity. Maybe the most metal album I have made so far. The taster track gives a quite good picture what it's all about:

A new Absolute Key album "Lauluja laaksoista" is out now on Tampereen Levyt.
Not so noisy stuff this time, the songs sail on the waves of ambient, electronic music, folk, psychedelia and experimentation. Percussion, guest vocalists, saxophones and even one campfire song included. But fear not, some darker shades emerging here and there too.
