After the detour in style that was Bulk, SHIFT returns to its origins with more heavy, slow moving, pessimistic and angry blackened shit. Morose features two 15 minute tracks and continues where the Creation and Space LP left off. 122 copies exist.

STAB LP distro situation: When promoting this LP I made a mistake when failing to make it clear that no distributors would carry it. The reason is that the small run makes for a very high production cost which makes the whole distro side awkward. Therefore all orders would have to be made through me. I have paid the price for that error since I've been fending off offers from various distros almost as much as I've been packing peoples orders. To complicate the situation further I was approached by two labels whose generosity and support in the past makes it impossible not to return almost any favour asked for. So, two distros will be carrying this LP after all. The number allocated is very small and depending on how they mean to sell them I'll let them make themselves known instead of me directing buyers their way. Unfortunately none of them are in the US. I understand that the total for anyone not in the UK or EU zones may be a bit steep. That's why I added a surface mail option which cuts the price down a bit but apart from that there's not much more I can do.
Orders have come in steadily over the weekend and if that pace keeps up the STAB LP will be gone by the end of the week. The PESTDEMON LP is also selling well but with a run of 250 there's a better chance of it being available longer.

"Recorded during the same series of sessions that resulted in 'Corrupted Scrap' (Freak Animal Records 2011),'Wreckage & Reconstruction' uses the same Factory Of Metal Sound technique that was applied to some of my previous metalwork releases,but this time exhibits a much more overdriven and bulked up end result that I was not expecting,as most of the prior attempts at perfecting and genuinely capturing the sound I wanted had ended up yielding more 'ambient' results.However,as is the nature with improvised sound recording,one never knows what will be the outcome.
Despite the fact that all the recordings I have made using the Factory Of Metal Sound technique have ultimately failed in capturing the sound I wanted to present successfully,'Wreckage & Reconstruction' I feel bears the most faithful resemblance to the sound I originally desired,and is therefore the closest I have come to truly instinctive and direct expression as far as the previous metalwork releases I have recorded are concerned.I wanted to capture an original sound by bringing any outside influences to collapse,and to reconstruct a new environment from there onwards,allowing for these recordings to exist without the need for comparisons.What you hear on this record is me playing with my life involved."

Notice to everyone who bought the AM NOT tape!
I've received complaints from several customers that the AM NOT tape is the same track running at approximately 5 minutes each side. I've tested a few of the remaining tapes myself which confirms what people have said. This is a fault by the manufacturer and not the way it's intended to be. I have informed Tapeline and am eagerly awaiting their solution. Till then the AM NOT tape is withdrawn. Needless to say this is a headache for me and it will be taken care of.

Reissue of the highly sought after cassette from 2010 (Ltd x 120 copies, Unrest Prods). The synth driven power electronics of IFOTS is hard to define and is not instant on the ears. "Blush" followed and evolved from the debut CD "Behavioural Decline" on Cold Spring (2009). There is no in your face harsh approach here, IFOTS takes a much more subtle route than that and is all the more challenging for it. Comes with a bonus live version of Feel The Boot. Shocking pink digipak with spot-varnished artwork.

Will the listed distros have copies of the Kontinent tape? Asking to be certain, since I wanted to get that from you, but I was late...
I gave three boxes to Mikko at UFoI III to settle an outstanding trade but in principle no distros got any copies. They were all sold straight from Unrest and they are gone.
There are new releases coming up for Autumn. New Shift, more Kontinent, Kevlar, Black Insignia and we'll see what new might come from ABSCHEU after I've poked him with a stick. As this year is the tenth anniversary of Unrest there may be a compilation LP celebrating the occasion. We may make a hoodie too but they are horrendously expensive to produce so it depends on demand.

On a more serious note, perhaps you could finance it through pre-orders? A bit of a hassle if you don't get enough orders and have to refund the money, but it may be worth it if you want to offer people the opportunity of buying one without shouldering all the risk.
Also, that solves the issue of sizes, so you don't get stuck with those five size Ms that no-one wants or needs.
I can handle the cost but if not enough are bought it will impact on one or maybe even two releases and I don't want to do that. I have a strict no pre orders policy but an alternative is to compile a list of people who want one. That's normally enough of an indication even with the few who don't honour their reservation.
The hoodie will be a zipped black SOL. Same brand as Tesco use. Very high quality but not cheap.

As much as i would love to have an unrest hoodie, I'm afraid that the exchange rate coupled with shipping to the USA would be devastating. I often times wish that I lived on that side of the pond.
It is an issue that a lot of things from here are expensive for Americans. Maybe something can be arranged so someone "over there" handles the distribution to cut down on the cost.

An exploration of genocides of the past and the current depopulation methods with a reference to the idea of the "age of reason". Death Technologies combines industrial abrasive sounds, unpredictable synth collages, held together by industrial loops and noise walls. The context of this work, enforced as a direct sonic assault, aims to attack cognitive thinking and the ability to question and form rational decisions.

UNCODIFIED's debut release on Unrest Productions is also his most dense sounding. Massive slabs of industrial noise layered with structures creeping slowly to the fore and abrupt endings then straight into the next track at a relentless pace.
Unlike previous works, there's no concept or single theme. Each track has different inspirations: Tarkovskij's cinema (The End Is Never One), neurosis and anxiety in modern society (Parasites and Deception), war (Ambush), media control (First Tearing).
Release date is 28/10/16 but everything can be ordered now. As the pound has dropped quite significantly in the last few months I'm forced to raise my prices for the next batch so these are the last releases at the current price.

KOUFAR - Lebanon for Lebanese, CD
Lebanon for Lebanese was KOUFAR's first recorded material since 2010's "The Purity Of The Cedars". Released on vinyl by Fusty Cunt it featured collaborations with SHIFT and STRIATIONS. There are also two bonus tracks from the very limited "Z3eem" tape which was released by Black Psychosis to coincide with KOUFAR's appearance at UFoI III last year.
The LP was cut in a way that a high quality stereo or headphones were required for complete listening due to the low frequencies. This CD has been carefully re-mastered by Pekka PT paying tribute to the original master as it was intended.
A joint release between Unrest and Fusty Cunt.

Agreed ! Unfortunately I had to miss Kontinent due to my plane arriving at nearly 19h, but everything else was excellent -- glad to have another chance to see Kevlar again, since I missed them (again due to travel times) in Mannheim in the fall. Venue was great, some familiar faces, great selection of merch from Unrest and a few others, snagged as much as I could realistically bring home in my luggage, and have only started to dig into the new Kontinent so far. Really glad that I made it to Paris for this event, thanks to Vincent for setting it up and Unrest \ all the acts for putting on such a great night.

The whole event was perfect, line-up, sound, ambiance... etc. + a surprising appearance of Shift during the Am Not gig!
Agreed ! Unfortunately I had to miss Kontinent due to my plane arriving at nearly 19h, but everything else was excellent -- glad to have another chance to see Kevlar again, since I missed them (again due to travel times) in Mannheim in the fall. Venue was great, some familiar faces, great selection of merch from Unrest and a few others, snagged as much as I could realistically bring home in my luggage, and have only started to dig into the new Kontinent so far. Really glad that I made it to Paris for this event, thanks to Vincent for setting it up and Unrest \ all the acts for putting on such a great night.
It was a pleasure meeting you and Sean. It's not an exaggerated claim to say that Kevlar did their best ever performance in Paris. So far! I don't know how but somehow they manage to find yet another gear every time they play. Paris was bordering on deranged in its intensity.
