Besides, that there is classifieds section, were people who are selling items, should there be just one general topic, where anyone could post news about new items coming up? Very often I hear from people, that where one could get information about upcoming records, tapes and such thing. Some labels/artists use IG, fb, bandcamp, email list, and so on. Unless you are their follower in specific social media, it might be that new G.O. 7" or Sewer Election cdr, or bunch of self financed noise tapes or something, you will not hear.
So topic just focused mostly on mentioning things people may be interested to check out. There are other topics for bandcamp or soundcloud links. So this would be for PHYSICAL releases. If it is one topic focusing on that, I don't mind even cross posting news that someone posted on classified. Just that spam should be compact and not bombarding same things all the time.
As example:
Amek-Maj and Kitu put out couple split tapes recently. Very small quantities on tape, both members of YANA, doing solo work. No label, self financed, but something may be found still at nhfastore and maybe satatuhatta store? Members are not very active in social media nor they have labels/distro, so check out the distros!
Garbage Fountain is presently dubbing 25min YANA material from 2017. He does it recycled tapes and I can imagine edition will be pretty limited also. I quess best way to catch him is traditional email; the.other.salvation@gmail.com
A "neutral" thread in the "Release Announcements" board sounds like a good idea, so people have a place to put info on interesting future or very recent releases that are not by their own projects or on their own labels.

So thrilled about this one ! The Domaine Poétique boxset is brillant btw.
After several shorter releases and a couple splits, a Hate Sermon full length will come out sometime this year. Tracks are complete and now I have to finalize artwork and layout. I plan on making plenty of copies for wider distribution.

Enno Velthuys – Different Places LP
Continuing the reissue campaign of legendary synthesizer artist Enno Velthuys, we are proud to offer the Different Places LP. The original tape from 1987 was the second tape Enno produced for EXART and it was his last work before he disappeared into obscurity. By this time, he became disillusioned by the cassette network and his mental condition sadly deteriorated. With Hessel Veldman, label owner of EXART, getting more interested in experimental music, they were both moving into different places and eventually lost contact.
Willem de Ridder and Enno stayed in close contact. Enno composed background music for some of his radio shows. Willem would release some of these recordings through his own label, Radio Art Foundation. For the limited version of this LP 4 cassette covers, drawn by Peter Pontiac, are added as additional prints.
Enno was a perfectionist, always looking for better equipment. When listening to the original master tape of Different Places it turned out it had a real nice, clean sound. Definitely an improvement over some of his earlier material. While mastering these songs for vinyl in 2021 we tried to stay as close as possible to Enno's original intentions. Different Places is probably his most coherent work and includes some magical chord progressions. Shades of Erik Satie and Hiroshi Yoshimura mixed with immersive, spacious, cosmic ambient. Melancholic but less claustrophobic when compared to predecessors Glimpse of Light or Landscapes in Thin Air.
While the LP was in production, we were contacted by someone who just bought a framed 1967 drawing from a thrift store, made by Enno. In the 60's he was playing guitar for various bands and although his father was a famous illustrator of children's books nobody knew he was also doing these large drawings back then. We are very pleased that we were able to add this amazing piece of art to this publication as an insert.

It was put out by WRATH. I don't know yet if I'll be getting copies for sale (trying). I noticed there was already review in one Finnish blog, so copies are out there, but yet to hear it.

Hal Hutchinson, self titled: C30 tape of defective sounding tape loops. Very rough and rotten in parts. Comes in thick recycled card stock J cards that have the 'HH' and Der Bunker logo ink stamped on, and are all fire damaged & degraded to varying degrees. Sound is similar to 'Blood & Flame' era NON or early Murder Corporation. Available via Black Psychosis distro imminently.

I don't know the publisher, but author is the guy who has done the SWANS book and was it... one NIRVANA book and many more music books. So one could expect level to be superior to "scene guy with broken english" -type of approach?

Well, if you mean discussion to generate some sort of "hype" before it gets out, I don't know what kind of discussion is needed? If meaning discussion related to getting box done in most honorable way one can do with artist who is no longer with us, then this has been long process of getting nod of approval (and masters, original arts) from family of artists, friends of the artists, former labels and so on. This all is thanks to Bonini/Audio Dissection's commitment to project. IR's role is merely manufacturing & logistics. I know re-issuing anything leads always to disappointing someone. Some would like heavily mastered items sounding "finally good". Some prefer they remain as is. Some like stand out items, some prefer affordable and compact way to get all at once. Some would like to see clumsy art re-worked a bit so it matches the standard expected from reissue.
Those who know how IR works, I tend to favor sound close to "as is", and graphics that follow the original as much as possible, without revisionism and "improvements". Some call it cheap, but that's what I would prefer.
Haven't posted on here for a while so I'll break my silence by announcing a self-released CDr split between my two projects along with a rather small run of an art zine featuring collage work of my own. Aiming for a release date shortly after Dominion Of Flesh next month.
For now, here's a small taste of my art style. The zine will contain all new material and won't be limited to just b&w or greyscale!

Surely for example financially, usually individual CD's are better for label, but I also think that especially these times, something being affordable and compact has value. To get Monde Bruits stuff that was done before debut CD, all in one, seems good for me as I doubt many would leave something out. Inclusion of booklet, that has many formerly unseen things, works out well in box format, while stand alone CD would have to be slightly different.
I guess it can be said already, but there is going to be also 10xCD box of 2000's Government Alpha CDR's later on. Sure many of these are so good they could be stand alone CD's, but at certain point, if you're going to put out like 20 CD's worth of GA, it feels box sets might be only way to get it work. GA at his CDR era is so brilliant, but due format, many of releases gets never mentioned as they are not "90's tapes", that has almost fetishistic value. The 10xCD all deserves preservation and cultivation, but putting out that many stand alone CD's would seem to me as project that doesn't get finished. There is certain realism here, and in short, to get these albums into ears of people, the box will more likely make it happen.

I think F&V no longer has any USA distribution. And distribution alltogether is pretty minimal. I just got these yesterday but sold all in day. Now arranging new batch of stuff. Shipping up to 4 CD's (or more if they are lighter weight than jewelbox) to USA costs merely 7 euro. Now that USD and EUR is 1:1, I would assume lots of US customer would have good opportunity to grab european releases.

Excerpt some sources can be little bit older. All other material is recorded and put together just few weeks ago. So, this is to most newest Amek-Maj material in this moment. And propably there is nothing now to come in a while.
In my ears, it is heavier and stronger, at times makes me think of older Mania with heavy sub-bass level rumble and scrap metal. But that's not all what there is. Four pieces, 40 mins, variation of things.
Umpio CD is new 2022 finished, but using old unreleased album session together with new stuff. So you got hints of the old broken-junk Umpio, as well as modular electronics, and result is very tasty. Advanced but also crude and in-your-face harsh noise.
All reissues are "as is". Audio is not mastered at all compared to former CD's. If you want louder, you turn volume knob louder. Great dynamics found in all Macronympha items. Barely ever brick-wall kind of thing, despite being NOISE.

Most likely there will be probably some labels taking some. Some releases are quite explicit, not every dealer can stock them. Besides that, I don't think there really exists big USA distributors for noise anymore? So eventually some releases will be sold by some labels who run small distro besides sell their own stuff.

Looks like it will be an epic year for The New Blockaders! Really looking forward to this stuff. Splits (collabs?) with artists I like a lot and some with artists I've never heard of (Grinder-Without-Organs, Ice Yacht). There are many good TNB collaborations so I'll give all these a spin if possible. Any idea if these will be some limited to 25 art editions that are impossible to get or actually meant for a bit wider "public"?
Any more info on the book? The story of TNB? Art book with tons of collages? Either way sounds super interesting as well.

Why? There is only few tracks you've perhaps missed. This artist offers a non-stop a new ones to us. And it's great to hear those.
Wanting to hear old stuff doesn't mean that I'm taking the new material for granted. It's my completist mentality with any project that I enjoy.
First CD (tape comp) was supposed to be done with the new one, but in the haste forgot all about it. Will be doing 2nd press sometime. Superorganism is still available as LP. No plan for other versions.

A compilation of Japanese noise artists entitled "Capturing The Wind" is being sent off to press, with tracks from Kazumoto Endo, Spore Spawn, K2, scum, Thirdorgan, KAZUYA ISHIGAMI, Astro, NP, Kazuma Kubota, Government Alpha, P.O.V., Hiroyuki Chiba, MO*TE, and K. Endo & Kaori Komura. Originally scheduled for 5/14, but due to production delay, end of May/beginning of June is more likely.

Both to be faithfully reproduced using original art, and in keeping with DIY aesthetic. No concrete release date has been set for either, so things may bleed into the months following Summer.
Also on the block sooner than later, "Deep In The Heart", a compilation of Texas noise artists, representing a superb lineup of existing projects from all over Texas. Those that responded to the invite, anyway. Early Summer projected.

I went and streamed both of those after reading that interview a few months ago! I'm not the best expert on the history of industrial music, but your zine was the first place I had ever seen Zona Industriale mentioned. I think what impressed me the most was the way he talked about working under such limited conditions and then sharing tapes with his collaborator/correspondent to create their music with whatever they could find. I was working under similar correspondence conditions with a friend at the time, so hearing about how successful it could be for them was very inspirational.

The second part of the collaboration was announced some time ago, though? It would be great if the retirement was only short-lived, but my guess is just that it was recorded a while ago and then kept in the archives until the time of its release.

I think the Hamilton Mist cd is my favorite, besides the theme
It's the very skillful handling of the soundscapes, minor things
extremely balanced. But also both Anatomikal Venus releases have not one dull moment, everything fluid and highly interesting sounds. Steel Corset is more like a violent heavy onslaught with primitive means. Extremely effective especially the handling of feedback etc. early SJ comes to mind. Artwork is among my favorites, all of the cds, well picked and composition wise perfect.

Somehow I had totally missed that Hello From The Gutter rereleased Masonna's Evil Black Disc 7" as a 3"CD some time ago. I tried to get the 7" when it was released in 2016 but it sold out in a flash as it was limited to only 99 copies. Secondary market prices got ridiculous so I already gave up on it. But now it is available again! I guess Masonna's upcoming appearance on the Hospital fest made it an easier decision to put this out in a (hopefully!) bigger edition.

Genuine question here, is there something special about the cassettes that they now retail for more than the price of a CD?
Manufacturing prices have become way higher than CD (especially in bigger editions). Hospital tends to have packaging, that costs so much that I even with prices he has, I doubt he is making much money. I think also recent batch of WCN, neat dvd size digipak CD was cheaper than tape!
This new release by ABFALL is good. For fans of distorted and dying tape loops. Kind of reminds me of Basinski's Disintegration Loops but harsher and more varied. Especially the last two tracks. First I've heard of the project but I'm sure the older heads on here are familiar with this 90's veteran.

I am OK with bootleg releases / labels when it comes to old stuff, but only if they do 'pro' work, meaning the best digitazation of an original copy etc. , not taking MP3 from the internet , ripping YouTube as Light Sounds Dark more likely does. I have no info but i highly doubt they own or have find original copies of all the releases they have taken tracks from. I bet my money they dont.

It's very interesting to see a Prurient - Oxidation LP. The original Oxidation tape is one of my favorites by Prurient. Worth it alone for the artwork.
Also excited for this new Intolitarian release. The last release before it was cluster fuck of genocidal frequencies and unrelenting savagery and hate. I'd imagine more of the same with this new one.
