Title: Tascam 302
Post by: PTM Jim on November 24, 2022, 04:07:16 AM
I've had a single unit for many years, but recently just got 4 more to hook together for dubbing. My question is for anyone that has done this to multiple units...
There are two 1/8" spots for EXT Control (1 IN, 1 OUT) that you chain a cable to each other. What cables do you need for this? Do you need stereo or mono because I don't know if it actually makes a difference in the sound or if it is just an electrical signal cable that links them. I have the manual and it doesn't even mention the cables at all, let alone what kind.

The control In/Out connections use 3 contacts (CLOCK, DATA, GROUND) and size acc. to manual is 3.5mm mini-jack. So you have to use stereo mini-jacks (any regular headphones cable).
