Side A creeps on with driving bass wall and some indulgent sound play to sooth and tantalise into a false sense of sleep before the killer blow strikes hard, proving that Dr Alex's inner demon is alive and speaking his death magic in the blackness.
Side B is a rare treat. Here we are delivered a complex stereo arrangement of abstract walls that gather into a murdersome bedside vigil. This wall requires your attention in the same way that attention is given to the still beauty, pale face like a porcelain doll, lips cold and forever closed eyes..

Nightmare Castle summons ripping bloody moonlit severity in homage to the Loup Garou of the New Orleans region. Fouke offers up a crackling mystical sketch of the legendary Fouke monster from the Arkansas territory of the US. Dead Body Collection closes the split with a shredding piece of forest magic dedicated to the implike and eldritch Slavic spirit Leshy, keeper of the woods. This is an amazing split simply by virtue of the artists involved, but beyond the pedigree, the concept (proffered by Nightmare Castle) is very cool and attaches the sometimes pointless intensity of HNW to something more deeply felt and tied to a shared global culture-the proliferation of mythology and storytelling-but no less scathing. Altar Of Waste is beyond psyched to offer this document to the masses, a meeting place between three of HNW's most respected practitioners and a celebration of a worldwide commonality. When all the technology has crumbled to the ground and humanity is reduced to a nomadic state, these stories will persist, terrify, and unite.

Everyone should experience harsh noise walls (HNW) in their life. The thought of listening to a relentless, slowly evolving, extremely loud and distressing combination of noises might be off-putting at first. As the tracks progress however, you get used and somewhat comfortable with the sounds. They overpower anything around you and slowly takes over all your senses until there is nothing else left but this rock hard wall of harsh noise. That's when the meditative state comes in. And then it stops, suddenly and unexpectedly, and the only thing you experience is an uncomfortable silence. Left with two choices; get back to reality (doing the dishes usually helps) or to switch to the B-side of the tape and start all over.
Dead Body Collection brings you just that; harsh noise walls. This brainchild of Aleksander Nenad crawled to the surface in 2010 and has released no less than a whopping 107 (counting split releases) albums, tapes and singles in these last four years. In this flood of noise, Dead Body Collection has been able to maintain a constant high quality and is now regarded as one of the more interesting projects in HNW.
Featured here are three tracks, recorded between 2010 and 2012, two of which were supposed to be part of two compilations that in the end never were finished. The third and longest track was supposedly released on cdr in 2010 but copies of it never surfaced.
