Title: Martial drums
Post by: ledruide on November 04, 2014, 06:24:47 PM
Hi! This is my first post, but I have been reading you guys once in a while. I would like to know if some you might have suggestions regarding the best program/vst to create martial beats à la Arditi? I want to insert some of those in my tracks. Once it is ready I will share on the forum so you can hear what I do. Thanks all for your time!

for bombastic drumming I suggest: kettledrum, recorded with directional microphone into reverb (you choose your favourite one): Back in the days I was using yamaaha spx900, now you have better and less digital sounding reverbs.

Definitely the best option so far.

sure, but you totally miss the physical fun of banging drums aloud
