Had opportunity to grab early copy of this item so few comments:
Antipakt 7" very good! Nice quality vinyl, despite 45rpm fast rotations, it feels long enough to offer proper blasts of noisy PE. Two different vocalists (one per side) and sounds and vocals what makes you start guessing who exactly is in this project. 100 copies 7" seems like.. well, who knows. Either way too little or just enough. Sound is rough and noisy, but consistent in composition. It follows certain pattern being heavy and raw at the same time. I do recommend to purchase it as soon as officially for sale.

The artwork for "Charnel Heap" is different than the 2-tape set so everyone will have to double-dip plus F&V said the sound levels are much improved.

F-46 NYRKKI JA KYRPÄ II v/a TAPE

I have this in my van so I don't know the trackline-up. I have no idea who it is but it's like old, classic Sutcliffe Jugend: super violent feedback with intense, delayed vocals. It sounds like a live rec'ing.  Price of the tape is worth just for that ONE track & I'm sure there will be at least a few more goodies on there. Trashy, ugly artwork too.

The Snuff track is intense.  Makes me want to dub over my two tracks.

What's the new BU sound like? Still in the same vein as "Lily the Flesh"? I like old BU a ton but I absolutely love that cassette probably more than any other P.E. released this year so far.

There are different cover collages too? It's intentional or how? One of my tape covers is slightly different than the others.
Title: Re: Early F&V warning
Post by: ConcreteMascara on August 19, 2010, 08:41:10 PM
I think it turned out really well. Especially digging the b-side. The collages seem to be of at least two variations from what I've noticed.

You're probably right about the latest batch of releases not being available yet. Last I heard, F&V was expecting the BU 7" to arrive late Aug.

I was mailed one copy each of CH & V/A tapes. The rest will be sent to me  later.

Finished listening to the comp & there's ALOT of really strong tracks on this fucker. Best on S2 are the 2 Coma Detox trax & Pogrom (need to get that tape!). Now I need to sit down & listen while following along with the track listing.

"I think the material is from 1996. It is hard to remember but it sounds alot like the stuff we did around then. There was no date on the master tape but it is definitely mid 90's Macronympha."

BU 7" is fantastic. Combining the more aggressive vocal elements of Purification with the murky, sleazy lo-fi feel of the Lily the Flesh cs. B side is the better of the two with the urgent/disgusted vocal performance and hypnotic/mysterious closing music. Just a taste of what's to come I hope.

Yes WP pt.II LP most likely wont happen anytime soon atleast. Material not very optimal for LP lenght plus it aint that good heh couple covers (Carnivore"USA for USA" & Skrewdriver`s WP) and one epic piece "oath" from someones "military oath ceremony" (not proper word, me english is nicht good) You can easily live w/out WP pt. II

Victory LP- thats mandatory.

What I thought he meant is that he was recording new versions for a WP Part II. But now that I read it I understand that he just meant that these songs wouldn't sound good or fit nicely onto a wax re-issue. I thought it was a whole new release.

Here is the review I did for Musta....

Bizarre Uproar - Musta Rotta (2010) - It is safe to say that you can add yet another great piece of noise to the already flawless Filth and Violence family tree (you may have to move a few of those lynched "non-white rats" out of the way though). This 7'' traverses the same eerie, debased path carved by the great Lily the Flesh cassette but this time it is a bit more "polished", as the flier advertised. It doesn't need to be "lo-fi" to be rough and BU proves it here. Side A is an intensely focused look at pulsating electronics quivering and bursting out with each and every command issued by our vocalist. It is a shame that I can't understand the lyrics here (maybe because I don't speak Finnish?) but that doesn't take anything away from the overall effect. The beginning of Side B reminds you of where you are; as if a handcuffed group of starving men are slowly walking by with their chains rattling against the concrete floor right before the loud speakers turn on and, once again, Mr. BU spits out his message. My favorite part of this track is the intensely direct feedback assault that occurs about half-way through. It seems that 2010 has been one hell of a year for this label. I'm sure the F&V guys (and gals) could put something cruel and heavy together with a few answering machine tapes if that was all they had left to work with.

How is the XE lathe for anyone who was fast enough to reply to the guy? I missed the boat and not for a lack trying.

First post updated.
No need to re-sign up for mailing list.

XE"SS-Division Wiking/TRE Skinheads 1983" LP version will include A-side of lathe-cut "Must Be Ready" (MISTREAT cover). Suits perfectly for LP as a bonus.

More to come:
MANIA"Grotesque Mirth" 7INCH
GOLDEN RAIN"Live" TAPE
Also some CD versions of sold out tapes, that I consider important.Important enough to keep available pretty much forever.
BIZARRE UPROAR"Viha&Kiima" 2xLP (20th BU year celebration release)
etc.etc.etc.
These might take time so dont hold your breath.

Back in business in a 2 weeks or so. Mailinglist info will follow. Suomi jätkille voi myydä jo nyt!
Also please take a notice we have been away 3 months, lots of things to take care. Answering for emails take time.
Anyway as usual when payment done will sent stuff out in a 24h.

A new XE LP would be great. (Speaking of which, did anyone get "Hang The Nigger" 7''? Is it even out for public consumption yet?

yeah that 7" is long gone. tried to get it to no avail. i own all XE material except for that one. sold my tampere skinhead tape cuz i knew a LP repress was coming. can't wait.

Post by: RyanWreck on January 27, 2011, 11:09:44 AM
I'm really looking forward to that as well. I'm hoping someone tries to sell it soon or one of my cohorts gives me a rip of it.

P.S. "Victory" is fucking brilliant but I don't think there would ever be a day where I could comfortably let go of Tampere Skinheads 83.

When advertising its just SNUFF II LP. No descriptions. If you dont know what it is allready, you will be most likely dissapointed!

I was just answering Reid's question and trying to create some dynamics in this topic, ha ha! But of course, I could just stay out of it instead of pestering all you asslickers with my negative vibes...

My view of the picture for the second Snuff LP is that it would be best to likely remain a mystery as to why the picture is used. Please don't spoil the fun with any smashed kid's faces or such. Thanks.

Perhaps someone can give a review. My copies gone. I should have re-stock soon. FA got these.

Speaking of SILENT ABUSE. She has been very buzy w/torturing cocks and fistfucking arses as a job ,but 2 new tracks recorded for 7" of her own. I was surprised how good the material actually is!. Would love to release it  but she has made deal w/ one US label.

Short opinion I posted earlier in the playlist topic:
"Silent Abuse/Antichildleague (7" 45rpm, Hagshadow): Great hysterical vocals on the A-side, but I do like the noise from the B-side a bit better, it's a heavier track. All in all, worthy purchase and I'm interested in what other stuff Silent Abuse will still do."

I'll probably end up doing a review for it for my review site ( http://purestench.blogspot.com ). I liked Side B a whole lot, not so much Side A. The screamfest was too over-the-top.

Few minutes "Outro", field recording as bonus.  If you got the tapes you dont need this. CD reissues/editions will be jewelcase size clear soft cases. trying to imitate F&V tape outlook. IMO looking very good. CD editions will be 300 to 500. Idea is keep `em available pretty much forever.

Special Intrest Nr. 5 reviews - Antichildleague & Silent Abuse - She Lost control 7"

Have you ever witnessed a woman in the deepest pattern of emotional breakdown or psychotic episode? Had a thought, that if she "looses" her mind completely, she may appear sitting on your chest with a knife in her hand and ready? This album is ready! It is capable. It is moving towards you. It is ready to show you, how fucking weak and useless you are. And she is right. She is manic and there is no breaks. There is no time or speed limits. And she will do it! This is a the sound of a mental riot. This is a statement. A milestone. This is a warming. SHE LOST CONTROL!  A woman is a beast. A predator. She is fearless. She is the creator. She is a psychopath with voice as a weapon and no regrets.

ACL 2 track vinyl featuring Silent Abuse aka Bizarre Uproar female unit. The collaboration of two strong and dominant women in a row noise 7inch have a single voice. A single idea. Violent and non-compromising noise filled with frustration and anger. That turns in to a strong debut record. Two tracks that deal with naked emotions and representation of pure mental pressure. That finely boils and blows-up. And then - she. That is me. That is every woman in the modern society simply, painfully, aggressively - loses control! This is a statement of united anger!

Album artwork speaks for it self so doest the titles of the tracks. The only shame is that this record is so short! As it definitely has a built atmosphere. It ends too fast. I am looking forward to hear more collaborations from these projects. I am ready for the war. I sing my self in!

Not sure if this is the right place for this, so feel free to move, but:

Can anyone recommend some stripped-down, piercing high-end PE like XE, Snuff, the stuff on the Nyrkki & Kyrpä comps, etc.

Are you new to Power Electronics? I ask because the stuff I am going to recommend is stuff that people who have been into the genre for awhile will already know. As far as XE type stuff, the really stripped down contact mic abusing, loud vocals type stuff then you should look towards the classics that have obvious influence on the XE/Snuff sound. Of course you have the Come Org material, specifically New Britain and Buchenwald from Whitehouse. If there are any two albums that really pin down that sound I would point to those 2 and the mighty SJ with We Spit On Their Graves. Outside of that, you have Male Rape Group, Lyoto, New Sadism, etc. all total classics that XE and Snuff are inspired by.

For stuff that is more modern, and if you don't mind Harsh Noise then you may want to look at some Prurient stuff circa 2007-2008 especially Arrowhead. I am actually drawing blanks right now, let me get back to this when I get back home. I know there are a few more modern and active artists that fulfill the requirements.

Thanks. Yeah, I suppose I wasn't very clear. I'm not new to PE, and am def. familiar with the Come Org material, Male Rape Group, some of the Aquilifer Sodality stuff. I guess I was asking about 'current'/'new' artists who are like contemporaries to those F&V artists I mentioned.

Either way, there's definitely some past stuff I can surely revisit.

Cover for reissue of the super limited Chains Of Death Command tape. For those who have the original, the audio has been transferred from original tape by Mr Sick Seed so sounds a bit different, much better in my opinion.

Well, lets see then...  Old recording was done 8-track MD recorder and sounded pretty thin due lack of good old "all in red" method and blow up tape sound. SS did remastering what improved it greatly.

New release out today -

!!!!SICK SEED "Helsingin Synagogat" 7INCH!!! -Available

After some silence, Sick Seed is back with a new 7" that takes the ever-mutating project towards more old-school industrial sound and versatility while retaining a healthy amount of power electronics aggression.
Title track on side A is a hit song heard at most Sick Seed gigs as well as at last Gelsomina (project that preceded SS) gigs. It's a heavily pounding and rotten-sounding industrial anthem that takes a venomous look at modern world and its plutocratic madness.
On side B we get a brief scrap metal (et al.) exercise "Teeth pt.2" and an industrial folk ballad "Angel Smith" that is Sick Seed's tribute to Jandek, one of the greatest outsider musicians in the world.
This is a powerful and emotional 7".
Cover art by Si Clark. Co-released by Filth And Violence and Untergeschoss.

Goddamn sluts I say!

Sent Discogs an email, a message on FB and a message on support request just to bomb them as much as I could. Here is the note I sent, you can regard this as an open letter. I encourage all to write their own responses and mail the company knee deep. Come on! What pissed me off further was that the mail DC gave to contact them via is out of use. Just for this I want to whip their soggy balls SLOWLY!

To Discogs,

yesterday I found out much to my surprise that your company had closed all opportunities to sell noise releases by the record label Filth & Violence (F&V). The response I got was this: "Sorry, this release cannot be sold in the Discogs Marketplace. If you have questions please email us at marketplace at discogs dot com". I find this to be a very strong reaction that borders on cultural censorship. It is a known fact between people whom listen to its output that F&V and its artists challenge established thought through exploration of radical artistic and political themes that often are exaggerated -and/or challenging musical and visual expressions. This is one of the key fundaments of noise music. I hope that Discogs will see past its misjudgment and reconsider its actions in the near future. To music lovers around the world this have been a sad and very disappointing day.

Note Discogs: Please use a valid email address next time when you are mass sending responses like this. Its then easier to get contact with you.

Regards,

T

It was just few copies found in warehouse. Went through all the boxes with tapes to check out if some stuff was not listed. Many recent re-stocks was something I had incorrectly listed or had wrong storage amount in database... And many sold instantly.  Sarvilevyt shop has some older F&V stuff for those who come to visit Lahti..

Obviously due magnitude of inventory, not all stuff in shelves. But can be bought by simply asking. Besides that shop has also stuff what is not in either of catalogues. This includes also older sold-out F&V titles and few even older things like Grunt/BU split 7"s etc..

Yeah, could definitely be one of his works. Actually I'm quite positive it is but still hoping for some more accurate information as I'd like to update Discogs listings w/ credits. Kudos to Simon in case he's the one, PBH looks especially nice. I really like the front cover even though it's quite minimalistic. Fits the "theme" perfectly.

Goatmoon / Bizarre Uproar

"Appetite for holocaust" split 7".

Goatmoon delivers a careful but insistent BM garage nodder. Riff based and focus on percussive elements. Continues the bands use of harmonies. Distasteful wet vox. A big fuck you to you all! Bizarre Uproar's material is heavily percussive with massive amount of decay and delay. Clear audible spoken and screamed vox with delay, no distortion. Pure desperation and filth. No regrets. Overall esthetics can be viewed as a bridge between the band's latest album "Perverse bizarre humiliation" and the new full length to be released in 2014. Both contributions are skilled produced. Overall very strong release where both bands complements the other.

Track list:

Side A
Goatmoon "Vääräoppisen tuhovärssy"

Side B
Bizarre Uproar "I regret nothing"

Pro-printed B&W fold out cover
Limited edition, undisclosed run
Released by Filth & Violence, October 2013.

Price: 99,- Norwegian Kroner + shipping

Really good 7" from both sides! Don't know too much from Goatmoon, only the split with Godless North, and those tracks were good, but this one is better. Guess I should check out some more from Goatmoon. And I feel a bit stupid about not ordering the new Bizarre Uproar album with it at once...

Oh yeah, and I think it's quite lame that people are already selling it on Discogs for more than €20.

Hehe, that's funny, maybe I should check out the 7" with Godless North again. But in the meantime I listened to quite some other tracks on youtube and some are good and others I like less. The folk version of Abomination of Winter is great though. But from what I heard, I'm not exactly inclined to check out more than what I heard.

Anyway, I had 5 copies (1 for myself) and they're all gone now.

I'm confused. The Past Atrocities tracklist looks like this:

Oi!
Nigger Dog Shit
USA For USA
Pigs

Dragon
Jugend
Vala
KKK

My understanding is that this is Vala and White Power compiled onto two discs....but the tracklisting for WP is different from the one offered on Past Atrocities and looks like this:

Bleeding Rectum
Nigger Dog
Oath
White Power
USA For USA
Pigs Glory

Is it a shortened or different version of WP, or just missing tracks, are tracks combined or..?

Yes! Schwarze Sonne Ritual Invocation is one of the albums I've played over and over since last spring, would love to hear it on vinyl. Atmosphere of the recording would be perfect on vinyl.

Just ordered the special edition of Past Atrocities, even though expensive as shit to import I must have a version of WP...and since I'll never be able to see XE live the DVD is well worth purchase as well.

VERNICHTUNG DURCH ARBEIT-all Garman sound samples that my very rudimentary have no idea of. cd cover pics imply some contrast between camp survivor/victim starvation and anorexic starvation. may be way off target here. nonetheless the Sonics are solid minimal noise textures, reminiscent of the f&v graustich release. recommended

Gonna need to know which US distributors will carry these. Especially the new XE and BU comp.
I'll stock copies of the split 7". I imagine Malignant will probably stock the CDs as well as the 7".

This shit flies fast over here my British friend and can be slightly elusive if one doesn't live on the internet (I only do when I'm at work sometimes). I'll appreciate it when I got it in me hands, which I can't wait to listen to/watch the XE special edition.

Thanks everyone also for the VERNICHTUNG DURCH ARBEIT descriptions, added to the long list of 'to buy'.

I wouldn't add it to very high on such list. Out of F&V catalogue, this release is perhaps among least interesting ones. Of course it could be satisfying to those who seek the exact style it offers, but release is far far away from what it could be.

Theoretically, there's nothing bad in suffocating & snotty noises and extremely extensive documentary samples and some good ol' WWII photo relics on cover... but there is utter lack of "artistic" creativity in the combination of these two. Sound of noise ain't that powerful, but neither that raw. On top you got the crystal clear document dialogue. It's almost as if you try to watch document from TV but someone listens noise on other side of wall. With just a bit, very very little extra tweeking and creativity, release could have been 10x better. So when F&V catalogue generally is almost exclusively hit, very rarely miss, it's odd choise to put out as CD. For example in case of RAPE releases, F&V would get involved into tweaking sound to desired level of rawness. This release would have probably benefitted from same treatment.

As comparison, for example, listening NYRKKI & KYRPÄ from CD, fuck, what a great compilation! It was good as tape, but could be even better as CD. This modern style F&V color scale adds little bit more kyrpä to the sleazy and tasty graphic look. Sound pressure and great contributions demands instant replays. Too bad some of the bands have already ceased to exists... I think?

VERNICHTUNG DURCH ARBEIT

I have that in transit from Malignant. I looked around for samples online but couldn't find any as it sounded like something that could be great or really shitty. It should show up on Monday.

I wish I had added the N&K comp; I assume he'll be reissuing the 2nd volume at some point? I think that's the one I'm on (I'm on one of them, right?). I noticed that there is a track on the original N&K tape that is missing from the cd. Anyone know why?

The N&K reissue is of course quite excellent, only downside is that the guy behind sKKK wouldn't allow his track to be used. Very excited for the new FCOA album as well.

For anyone who liked their previous releases -

Release date 10/10/2016
FLOODED CHURCH OF ASMODEUS "Piss Soaked Church of the Wrong: A Total Holocaust of Those Who Turn The Other Cheek" CD  Co-release between FV&Bestial Burst.

I've always enjoyed their releases, the horror film samples at the beginning of each track work really well.

Cool. Recently got their split with Necrocannibalistic Vomitorium, which was also titled "Church of the Wrong". Looking forward to hearing the album.

Very pleased with latest 2 LP's and CD's. Although not released on FVUK, SS latest album is really excellent as usual and perhaps even tops "Prison Songs". Such focus and detail.

Next two LP's coming will be packaged the same as Black State and Snuff, very professional glossy sleeves; paid for yesterday. Very intense material to say the least which will sound even better on LP! ETA Jan 18', hopefully small pile of new CD's at the same time inc. Hakaristi/XE collab CD which is incredible and VERY punishing.

Obviously all F&V UK releases available here: www.stoic-strength.co.uk

+ everything else available inc. some sold out (from the label) items.

SNUFF Male Supremacy 7" is great.
I would rate the very first SNUFF LP among classics of Finland, but also very very high on global level too. It is not often when such painful material is being done.

SICK SEED probably triumphed with their two last albums. After having such a long "career" behind, I guess it is hard to create fuzz and enthusiasm putting out good album on CD. I am confident that these two masterpieces have been largely ignored because there has not been tape or LP. Yet both, Prison Songs and Power Play are like absolute peak moment of Sick Seed. If anyone has ignored these just in hopes of LP version... as far as I know, they are not coming. So grab these before too late. They are filthy and violent, but also creative, innovative and full of great sounds, textures, compositions.

100% agreed. Found it strange to sell so few copies of these in the distro due to incredibly high quality of the material but as you say, probably ignored due to format.

I've got a bittersweet feeling that Sick Seed more or less peaked with The Great Corrupter. While Prison Songs and Power Play certainly maintained the innovation, creativity and unique/special quality his work is known for, TGC has something a lot of this music lacks: songwriting. While I still grab anything from this project with frenzied enthusiasm, TGC might be one of my favorite albums of all time. One that's difficult to subsume in terms of quality, simply because of how considered and slaved over every element feels.

As far as CDs go, Sick Seed is perfect. Less collector-friendly format for such thought-provoking sound; invites repeats when left in player.

Vihanmiehet is an excellent project. Something that has been on constant repeat at home. I find myself grabbing for that CD over other releases lately - any recommendations of similar sound are welcome.
Other than that, I'm mostly listening to Bizarre Uproar (especially live material). XE and Snuff, with some beers, for some true depravity.

They are filthy and violent, but also creative, innovative and full of great sounds, textures, compositions.

i cannot recommend the Snuff - Male Supremacy 7" enough. Snuff are amazing but that one takes the cake for me.

"Male Supremacy" is an awesome release.  Great noise, and fitting lyrics.  Though I would say that I enjoy Snuff's "Drive" much more.

As for Sick Seed, I never really cared for what I heard on either of those albums, but really liked the fragments that I have heard of "The Great Corrupter."  In particular, "The Most Heinous Crime of them All," as I love the piano loop.

Just got my copy recently and couldn't believe how good it is! Highly recommended.

Also, do any US distros have the Bizarre SS CD in stock? Having trouble finding it state side.

I especially liked the the XE / Reek of the Unzen Gas Fumes split (its a shame that this is so difficult to find!)

Just noticed news that there is apparently an official reissue coming (on vinyl?) through Goatowarex/Viva Angel Press. And yeah, this is a great release! I love Reek of the Unzen Gasfumes!

It looks really cool.  Picture disc (not sure if it is one or two), plus new track by both XE and RotUGF!

I really like both bands, and the new tracks sound really interesting - I'm just not sure whether that is enough to justify the shipping from China to the US!  But, then again, it is Goatawarex, so any hesitation and it will be gone...  I am really looking forward to his exclusive Wrath releases, though (XE and ZSS!).

amazing label, always loved the irriverence and politically uncorrectness behind it. Was in contact with the guy a couple of years ago - more or less when the XE re-releases have been published. Very difficult to pick up a release or a project, but if I have to mention a favourite, I would say Bizarre Uproar, Sick seed, Snuff, XE. Raw and arrogant power electronics as its filthiest.
Somebody knows if the finnish website is still active? I´ve only found the new UK division.

The website/social media (youtube, etc.) were both deleted a few months ago.  I have been meaning to email the label to see if there is a mailing list, but have yet to do so.

If someone doesnt want to order items from nhfastore or there is not available or wants to support artists directly and does not know the email, send PM and I can give it.

Label is easily reachable, but at this moment doesn't have website or social media. Nothing dramatic, nor worth of speculation. just return the old school ways.

The old school order via email contact works nice, just ask for sales list. I've ordered a few times lately.
