Post by: tiny_tove on January 18, 2015, 11:35:40 PM
What about a thread with demos and tests of interesting gear?

I start with my last purchase:

Great idea for a thread ! Sometimes I wish there would be more noise oriented gear demos. I am sick of hearing your shitty blues/rock licks, youtube.

My contribution, a very barebones demo of the Deses Parva, a small Skychord drone generator.

Oh and there is more vids about tape looping on my profile, for anyone interested.

This guy has made some pretty good and often visually appealing demos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osll7E0f0IY

That crazy Pole is a legend. His keyboard demos and his towel humping dog are pure entertainment.

Here he is playing a Polivoks aided by Manson. http://www.unrestproductions.co.uk/shop/order-vinyl.html

I didn't even need to click the link to know it was WC OLO GARB. I tried to contact him for a release once but he seemed quite reclusive.

here are a few demos for Rochambeau Musical Apparatus's Crustacean White/Low/Crackle noise source:

first up is a general walkthrough, ending into a try out with a couple easy to find not to expensive pedals.
my unit is exactly like the one Croch used in the video, only the one out and it has the momentary switch.

second demo track really exposes the value of the momentary switch...
