CLOTTING - Broadcasts of Perturbation C30
The third offering from Chicago harsh industrial/power-electronics project CLOTTING, brings a collection of tracks together enticing citizens into fits of hysteria and rage. Rhythmic beatings and static landscapes suffocate the listener as they are boxed into a room. Crumbling texture leaves shortness of breathe, as transmissions of induced panic attacks take hold. These tracks represent separate ideas of societal horror, but the unsettling and anxious emotions connect them into one cohesive night terror.
Each tape comes with a hand numbered card stock laser printed j-card and card stock lyrics insert. A and B side sticker labels affixed to white shell cassettes. Tapes are home dubbed with special thanks to Depravity Label.

Heart of Palm debuts with a 3 track demo of melancholic tropical ambience. Ripe with tones and textures leaving you thirsty for a coconuts milk, and drowning in pools of post industrial malaise.
A side project from No Coast / No Hope operator Shea Hardacre (CLOTTING), Heart of Palm hopes to pleasure a fantasy of ambient musique concrete. Inspired and driven by tiki culture and tropical vibes. But twisted and warped by the artists depressive vision.

CLOTTING's "Fraudulent Haruspex" cassette utilizes slow churning broadcasts of apocalyptic industrial noise, to elaborate on themes of false messiahs and religious cults. Pounding wraths of rhythms collide with static drenched noise, creeping frequency disruptions, and looping abrasive metal. Direct preaching from televangelism gives narrative to the exploitation of credulity, and radioed in vocals read passages from hymnal text.
Artwork sheds light on various figure heads and second comings, adorned with religious iconography and structure, all captured under recording camera. Controversial symbolism from cult leaders show a desire to shock the masses into following, and the naivety only a delusional figurehead can posses.

Proud to present our first full batch offering. Featuring a live statement from the original Midwest unit now West Coast DISGUST, which begins the "Luminary Transmissions" series honoring those who helped create the no coast. Punishing power-electronics made from some contemporary greats. Lineup on this release was M.Chami (Koufar, Terror Cell Unit) S.Torres (Terror Cell Unit, Miscreant) M.Finklea (Striations) and K.Gan Yuen (Sutekh Hexen).
As well, we present a commemorative release from Milwaukee's BLESSED SACRIFIST. "Decade In Dolor" honors ten years the project has been operating. A mysterious being of depressive electronics filled with hymnal chants and cavernous synth rumblings. J.Linski is no stranger to the Midwest though, and has been operating the Bullart. archival name for quite some time, most recently completing the incredible Amplified Humans Live DVD.
Lastly, HEART OF PALM's "D A N C E R" is the final statement of an expansive collaborative works between S.Hardacre and Haley McCormick. Elaborating on the score used for the experimental film, and a companion piece to the zine of images and prose, this release further illuminates the themes and ideas present from previous pieces. Serene synths and heavenly textures of musique concrete and simple ambience. Offered as a limited tape, as well as a bundle with the Zine+DVD combo.

THREE NEW DISTRO TAPES. Very excited about the items we've just added to the store. First off we are proud to present the latest RUST WORSHIP tape released by Skin Trade Recordings. "Predecession" is an excellent showcase of gritty tape musik and feedback featuring art and layout by label head S.Hardacre. Very well defined sounds and densely crafted for an interesting listen of textural distortion.
We also have a small amount of copies of two incredible releases from New Forces. SHREDDED NERVE "Final Vision" and SUNKEN CHEEK "Humiliation." Ex Midwesterner Justin Lakes continues to dominant the harsh tape musik and textural grit of all contemporary artists with a fully realized and perfectly formed "full length." The latest from Weston Czerkies is harrowing ambient noise filled with anxiety inducing tones and written like perfect scripture. The material on both tapes is of the highest form and we can't recommend the SN tape enough. It's being featured on plenty of year end lists already and for damn good reason.
