Didn't really want to start a new topic but couldn't find the old gaming one - I know there's not a lot of discussion of gaming here but this is something I've just come across that I thought might provoke some interest.

I'm grabbing the prototype, the concept and design appeals to me enough to be curious!

Impressive sound design as well.

Could you please send me a DL link for Sad Satan ? The first I heard of it, I couldn't find anything and thought it was a fake, but I haven't tried since then. Seems like there are now a lot of theories on reddit !
EDIT : ok, I found a link on reddit. Seems like there are censored versions ?!
Memory of a broken dimension looks great too, I'll give it a try !

I'm A LOT into japanese video games. I just finished Bloodborne and it's by far my favorite 2015 game. Amazing visual art and atmosphere, a very bleak and cryptic storyline (you have to read every item description and quickly learn how any piece of information is important), harsh yet very rewarding gameplay... Perfect video game experience.
Now starting MGS 5.

great

yeah, it is the censored (yet virus free) version.
I think if we can find the original gore images we can replace them by simply renaming them.
I will dig into that during the week end, if anybody finds them before please let me know!

more art-weird games are welcome!

Humble Indie Bundle is online. With one dollar you get "Goodbye Deponia" (third, I guess, in a series of point and click adventures very well done - Lucas Arts style), Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut (some puzzle) and "Sir, You Are Being Hunted" (cool wacky british steampunk stealth survival game www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQwMIZe5SkQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQwMIZe5SkQ)). Paying more than average (I payed 6,66 bucks because I'm kvlt) you get "Skullgirls"+dlcs (2d fighting game that seems to get rave reviews), "Planetary Annihilation" (RTS) and, the big reason why I bought this:

Xenonauts
www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOusl2XwYmM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOusl2XwYmM)
"Xenonauts is a strategy turn-based tactics science fiction video game developed and published as a maiden title of London-based independent game studio Goldhawk Interactive.[3] Inspired by 1994's UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-COM: UFO Defense in North America)."
I am a sucker for turn based games.

Also, some more games will come soon and usually they are well worth the "blind buy". Paying $10 for the Early Access of "Gang Beasts" seems pretty alright but I passed this one, more like a game to play drunk with friends, it seems.

The most noisehead friendly award for this bundle goes to "Sir, You are Being Hunted", it's not as out there as the games talked about here, but, the atmosphere is very nice while you crawl in the bushes waiting for robots to go away so you can scavenge some food, very good audio that is necessary for the stealth based gameplay. You should buy it for a dollar.

The gore images arent anything special. Same shit you can find on bestgore and they dont really add anything to the game, more than anything, they detract from it. In any case, as a small horror game it is effective and yeah, sound design is neat but beyond that it isnt really anything special, especially after youve checked the subreddit for it.

Protip for people interested in playing it: Don't look for the 'real' version of it. Besides gore, it contains a picture of felonous nature and having that on your computer ain't no fun. Besides, the 'real' version is a virus that bricks your computer.
