who remember this bizzarre project?
ambient and eerie sounds and distorted voices from interview of protagonists sex underworld of Bangkok and other zones of asiatic south-east area.
a kind of mondo-music.
i remember was a very interesting project but totally desappeared .

The writing on that blog is superbly honest, open and inspirational and has really superseded his early music/audio documentary projects. I would certainly buy a book by him if anyone would publish something.
Got the first CD (the Scottish one) years back, thought it was OK very much influenced by Sotos' releases.

Did totally dig his writings. Best parts are when he got in contact with street workers and such.
I just took the chance and did write him a email to buy a CD. Let´s see how it works out.
I have both the CDs and listened it twice the last week, probably Androphilia start this topic under my suggestion ehe. Not bad at all, pretty minimal stuff and synth based electronics but best parts are the lyrics and the booklet photos.

I can check out them soon. Will get both - the CD and the EP - directly from Joe. So far, so good. He told me, that he is looking for
a publisher for 2 already written books and there is a uncomplete third one as well.
He will release a free PDF of the WASTELAND project soon.
Looking forward to check out this stuff.

Got both CDs and i would say that i enjoy them. Somehow a bit sad that this whole audio project is over. Good content and a serious mind behind it.
honestly that has rejuvenated my opinion of Wordpress. For once a blog that isn't trying desperately to achieve 'social lift'. A blog that actually achieves old fashioned journal-ism. Not fact quoting or opinion mashing.
It's that hard to craft thing. Here is my experience, borrow my eyes.

A reissue of the CDs would be great.
