Title: Sigillum S
Post by: 13 on July 24, 2017, 01:39:17 AM
I am well-acquainted with Atrax Morgue, Maurizio Bianchi, Mauthausen Orchestra, Pietro Mazzocchin, The Sodality etc., but I have somehow managed to neglect Sigillum S completely. Browsing through the Verba Corrige catalogue, I noticed that they have several releases with the band and they all look delicious. So my question is, what is generally considered the essentials?

Bardo Thos Grol, splits with Gerstein and Ain Soph

The band informed me the earlier material will be getting a vinyl release in the near future.

The earlier stuff is mandatory in my opinion. Later on, they've started to experiment with electronica, dub and implemented a "cleaner" and more surgical sound.
The 3 releases they put out for the 30th anniversary are a good way to describe their path and evolution (LP+Tape+CD).
