"Knife Will Not Open Because Of The Rust" was already recorded in 2019 and after numerous delays, it found its home on Satatuhatta. Those familiar with Violent Shogun will find some of his sonic trademarks, but this could be one of his harshest releases yet. The atmosphere ranges from restrained and cold to dense and scorching thanks to manipulated junk and sputtering electronics from failing gear as well as heavy tape loops and metal banging. Zalhietzli is a French experimental noise project started in 2011 and after small break is now back in the game with this tape on Satatuhatta. Zalhietzli uses analogue four trackers with tape loops as a base for this release. Skillfully excecuted compositions and attention to detail makes the material varied and tracks stand out individually, from A-side long drones to harsher textural pieces on B-side. All having air to breathe but retaining the warmth of analogue media.
