"Winter" seriously needs a nice cd reissue with bonus tracks!

Picked up the When You Wish Upon a Scar compilation from Joe Colley's Povertech bundle on the Issues webstore. Aside from thumbing through his poetry book I had little familiarity with Lunde. My mistake! This stuff is killer. Sounds range from rhythmic industrial in the hunting lodge vein to lofi industrial clatter. Immensely intriguing material; strong narrative quality in the pallette and samples. Looks like I have plenty of material to dig through.

My first Lunde CD was Wish Upon a Scar, a friend got it me. Then a few years later I (recently) got Candyhole, XCHDX/TapeDEathCult and Colorado Terrain Investigations on Freak Animal and Industrial Recolections from Unrest store. Like them all, intersting work.

Eric Lunde – Animal Mineral Self Mirror - CD/DVDR box
2011 special edition by Traitmediaworks of this album published by Cripled Intellect Productions label. During his massive burst of activity 10 years ago, Lunde perhaps did more releases than is wise to do. Other question is whether one need to consider things like how many albums in a year people will be interested to check out?

During more quiet years, taking his albums into playlist reveals that they tend to be unique and highly personal. Unusual noise, unusual concepts, often special editions have plenty of extra art, text, or both.
Probably limited amount of sales resulted eventually starting to put out CDR instead of CD.

It is kind of shame, since CDR format most likely made demand as well as distribution possibilities even less than for CD. One would wish stuff like Animal Mineral Self Mirror would be appreciated vastly more widely than it has been.

Probably along last things I got from him, was long delayed compilation CDr + hardcover book titled MUDER LANGAGE & YOU MUDER GOD, including Grunt, Lunde, AMK, J.Jerman, Vertonen and many others. Came out 2013/2014 or so. I have ever heard or seen one sign of it exists elsewhere than my own copie(s). One review can be found of this release online.  Originally it was meant to be CD, but I guess label run out of steam and after delays, this came out on CDR. this the the regular edition, but there is also copies bound into sand-paper surface hardcover books.

Conceptually focusing on broken language, avantgarde art type of approach into words. There is not much of sound-poetry or the vocal noise type of stuff -really-. Perhaps Komissaren Hjuler goes furthest into that territory. There is experimental usage of voice. Tape manipulations of spoken word and so on, but most of all, it is good experimental noise compilation. I have no idea how many was made, but possibly it was given free to artists, which could explain why it is not even listed at discogs.

Even when broken language is not artistically intentional, but matter of skills, I do not have issues with it.  Broken language in context of underground art in some genres underlines the brute force. In some cases, it simply takes the tool into use, without concerns how correctly or incorrectly it can be used. I can only imagive how annoying it is for British and American's, when rest of us wreck their language trying to communicate internationally, haha... However: No apologies. Its just tool to use.

ERIC LUNDE "Audio demosntrations of the opycay 5.13 digital audio degeneration units" CDR
Amalgamated Torso And Such #3 (2013)
Disc itself says "opucay 5.13 DADUs demo disc".
Really damn sick Eric Lunde release. I am pretty sure many of his CDR's at these times were not really "mass produced" or sold. Many Amalgamated Torso And Such label stuff are not even listed at discogs. I would guess he sent out handful of copies to people who were in touch with him. He might be still doing it.
This is almost 74 minute CDR including stuff just like name says. It is recycled brown cardboard sleeve, full color sticker sealing the cover and inside couple prints with texts and details and bunch of glossy photo-prints of equipment. Audio borders somewhere between painfully unlistenable and amazingly unique. It is so hard and fierce decayed sound, that literally hurts the ears to listen, while not being neat juicy noise. It is pure audio experiments of sound decay. He has other releases like this people may have heard. As example, it may be something as simple as saying couple words, recording that that, playing recording on device, recording playback, and playing that on device, recording again... and proceeding numerous times until it is decayed into whistling thin and cold... sort of unwanted noise. While what Eric Lunde does, is art - it is almost as fierce listening experience as... something like new SNUFF album. You start to almost question what the hell is this and why I am spending time with it? Like the true noise, when it is disturbing, challenging, and demanding, yet... lures to listen.
