couldn't find any threads for this....

im looking for a list of Artists in this style. Does not have to be German!

Genocide Organ

tiny_tove

absolutely my favourite "style", I have grown up with that and still give me the boner although not much new blood apparently.

Anyway you MUST get OPERATION CLEANSWEEP, my personal fave and definitely the project with loudest volume and weilld efined sounds.
Don't miss theri debut POWERHUNGRY.

Then their singer's side project GIFT.

DAGDA MOR is another classic.

Get the early LOKI FOUNDATION compilations (Gaskrieg, etc.).

Then early SOLDNERGEIST works were definitely in that vein.

Stahlwerk 9 - very different material from record to record, in constant evolution.

Thorofon early stuff (Maximum punishment solution!!!) although I love anything they have done.

A bit different, more "ambient" oriented but unmissable is PREDOMINANCE.

Not German but same power/structure PROPERGOL.

tiny_tove , thanks for your reply

OPERATION CLEANSWEEP is great!

currently listening to - Munich 18/08/2002 - Propaganda For A New Century

have not heard PREDOMINANCE but am definitely interested in the 'ambient' side of this style as well.

looking forward to other members input.

tiny_tove

there are several projects that back in the days were released by Membrum debile propaganda, Loki Foundation /power and steel and steinklang.

also some rasthof dachau definitely fits the category (there is a thread for them), I also really enjoyed SHWADRON (not sure abou the spelling) and a few more

Stridulum

As far as German PE goes, SEKTION B is definitely worth a mention.
Saw them live once, and I really enjoyed it.

tiny_tove

Definitely!! I was going to write it now.
More in the vein of LOKI foundation/ambient oriented stuff do not miss Italy's finest VESTIGIAL, too underrated and personally one my my fave Italian projects ever (although their sound is pure TESCO/loki style.).

recently, one project that made me think a lot about those days: http://belaten.bigcartel.com/artist/trepaneringsritualen
both the ritual stuff and the more aggressive/vocal oriented stuff shold be of your taste.

a bit different, but definitely deserves attention Human Larvae

Perhaps lesser known or less appreciated germans...?

Advokat Ihrer Hoheit (söldnergeist related. LP of 500 copies shouldn't be impossible to find)
Drape Excrement (with more BDN'ish death industrial)
Wolverine (before Predominance - I only have the tape on LOKI, how was 2 tapes before it?)

Anenzephalia?

Absolutely! One of the best. And coldest.

All due respect and admiration for HUMAN LARVAE but he comes from a totally different direction than all the above mentioned greats. A different generation and style of industrial as well IMO. Let that not put anyone off though. I love Human Larvae! He has a new album due out on L-White soon.

THOROFON!

I agree. I have the full length cd and he reminds me a lot of NTT with some hints of Propergol here and there.

Steve

Maison Close eponymous CD on Force Majeure is a must for all into this genre

Nil By Mouth

My memories coming back to some not well knowed german projects as Phosgen, DJK, Diktat, Ariane V.

Nil By Mouth

Wait.. Diktat is a side project of Gabriele Giuliani. Not born in germany but I remember that the sound style is the same of the overmentioned projects

tiny_tove

diktat is run by a friend of giuliani, more con-dom oriented soundwise,
