Title: 'Giftnålen' book
Post by: Mr Klang on December 09, 2023, 08:08:34 PM
Available now:

'Giftnålen' (Kristian Olsson)

'A lifestyle publication for the Thanatomaniac. Antinomian. Amoral. Anarchic. Embracing danger, darkness and decadence.'

''Giftnålen' harks back to the 1980s / '90s, drawing inspiration from underground books & publications such as 'Amok,' 'Esoterra,' 'Force Mental,' 'Pandemonium,' 'Rapid Eye Movement,' 'Svarta Fanor,' and others. The book deals with all kinds of apocalyptic culture, anarchic rants, archaic sorcery, damned poets, esoterrorist tactics, forbidden knowledge, necromantic collages, oneiric musings, outlaw occultism, sinister arts and visual expansionism. Foul arts journal for society's outcasts. Heavily illustrated with tons of exclusive and rarely seen material.'

Includes:

Throbbing Gristle, The New Blockaders, Organum, Metgumbnerbone, Ramleh, Putrefier, Con-Dom, The Grey Wolves, Vagina Dentata Organ, Genocide Organ, The Sodality, Club Moral, Zero Kama, Vivenza, Monte Cazazza, John Duncan, SPK, Merzbow, and many, many others.

Looks like the book has been removed from the site. Hopefully some other distributors in Europe will pick this up!

European buyers can now get this via Bigcartel: https://giftnalen.bigcartel.com/product/giftnalen-no-1

Edit: it seems like it's best to email here first: giftnalen (AT) gmail DOT com. Information at the bottom of the page states that European and International customers will be able to obtain it through sellers in Sweden, Finland, France & Germany (none listed yet), and that distribution in Japan and the United Kingdom is also being worked out.

Is anyone actually attending to the email address given in a previous post? It sure doesn't seem so. Who is selling the book domestically in Sweden?

Wrote several times without receiving any answer. Quite disappointed.

post was made a few days back on private instagram @giftnalen

"Returned home yesterday from a month traveling in Thailand and Japan. The delayed shipment of additional copies of Giftnälen has arrived and backorders are being dealt with personally to resolve further delays. Any questions send direct message and we will work it out. Please note: Ajna Offensive has been the main distributor of the book, mainly focusing on the United States, but unless you ordered it directly from them they have nothing to do with the book. Regarding other distributors of it: Millstone Vinyl should have their copies before Friday and Cyclic Law, Tesco, Timeless etc will follow in short. Asia and UK will be announced very soon."

cold comfort for those who have been patiently waiting but figured best to share on a public forum

Dense in written and pictorial information,  it will take reading and rereading to make the most of the contents. Good information can cost.

... And from the start again !

Mine arrived today. Went through pages many times. It's not overstatement that every page looks like / is a piece of art. Every single one of them. The letters, the images, frames, arrangements ...
And so packed ! And it's 480 pages ! Reminds me religious books that believers have by their bed-side and every night before sleep they open a random page to read prayers or the life of a saint. I guess that's a proper way to read it too ?
