I haven't seen too many threads on actual labels themselves other than a few scattered around such as F&V, Freak Animal/IOPS and Sophisticate Records (a few more I am sure slipped my mind).
One label which I haven't seen discussed in depth on these forums is True Force/Pain Electronics (or TF/PE). This is a label that I feel needs more recognition that what they get. In my opinion it is the best active American PE/Noise label around, maybe even in the past 4 or so years. All of their material (all TF/PE projects) has been pretty much non-stop perfection. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite because I really like all of the releases coming out of this label. It would seem the main artist behind TF/PE is Liver Mortis and possibly the guy behind Pleasure Fluids, although I am not sure. The great "Todenlust" is a good example of violence in the form of sound. Any fan could not forget "Cut-Rate" which is a prime example of nicely done, perverted P.E. with lo-fi aesthetics. There are of course other acts outside of Liver Mortis who work under the label (TF/PE) and are just as good. Pleasure Fluids comes to mind quickly and is at the top along with Felony Sexual Assault and Men Of The Iron Heel (I am eagerly awaiting new material from all three artists.)
Something else I like about this label is that they re-issue older, possibly sold-out material as a "gutter edition" re-issues. Up and coming labels and even those who have been established for a long period of time should take note. There are few labels out there that seem to be as devoted and committed in keeping their material in print long enough for most people to enjoy it. A great idea since most artists in the P.E. and Noise scenes release such limited edition albums. The catalogue which usually accompanies the orders, although short, adds extra flavoring and also gives the listener a better understanding of the atmosphere surrounding this label.
Anyway, what are your opinions on this label? Do you have a favorite artist and material from the TF/PE roster?

I haven't heard anything actually released by this label, but I have the Liver Mortis tapes released by EST and Styggelse, and I like them quite a bit. I might pick up a few of the LM gutter editions at some point.
fist came in contact with LM with this release : http://www.discogs.com/Liver-Mortis-25-Minutes-Over-Holly/release/712759 (http://www.discogs.com/Liver-Mortis-25-Minutes-Over-Holly/release/712759), found in the sales-bin of a now-defunct local shop.....imho i like this the most still
really like the gutter-idea......as i hate to pay 50euro 1week after stuff getting oop or rip it from the net
like his sound, like his general style
I have almost everything by TF/PE. The best American PE/harsh noise label, hands down. Pisses all over art school hipster bullshit.
Anyone care to recommend a Liver Mortis release? I haven't heard anything from that project.

"the crimes they ask for" is a good´n , flows so nicely and has great vox. might as well get the tape from those finnish boys before its gone forever. that one is a little different because it has an unusually a crisp sound. I doubt youll be severely dissapointed with any of them though.
lets ad "suited treatment" to that list. cant remember if this has been gutter editioned but that thorax tape is likely gone forever.
Suited Treatment has been re-issued as a gutter edition. I have been hunting for a year for Liver Mortis' Scissored Out on Styggelse. That one really needs a Gutter Release but I doubt that will happen since it wasn't released by TF/PE.
For someone starting out on Liver Mortis I would suggest The Crimes They Ask For, Cut-Rate or Pleasure Ground / Master Coming which has also been gutter released and comes with Ideal Painforms.
For Pleasure Fluids my favorite is Scenes Of Consequence, but all of them are great.
I also highly suggest Men of the Iron Heel First Pogrom which can still be purchased from the label. The Civilian album coming out titled Unclean is fucking great, cold, analog P.E. Definitely a top contender.
men of the iron heel is my favorite from release I have from the label. Definitely looking forward to the next set of releases. I want to pick up the felony sexual assault, but figure I may as well wait for the next set to come out.

"Sorry, the item you tried to view is not currently for sale."
10 bucks isn't bad though (I live in the states, no Euro). I usually don't deal through discogs, I've only bought two tapes through it.
I think I have some TF/PE tapes still, and a copy of "Scissored Out" for sale - hit me up with your address and the title you're looking for and I'll check stock and send a total with shipping. I haven't updated the Cabal site in months since it hasn't been worth my time, which I've had very little of since I started grad school.

I think two first tapes of Liver Mortis was little bit wanky. It hardly lived up to expectations of advertising it with references to Aquilifer Sodality camp Italia PE. But, soon after, I think already 3rd tape was very good, and only got better. I personally rate the EST tape as best. It might be heavier and crispier than most other tapes, but perhaps also thanks to 1:1 real time dubbing on chrome tapes??

I guess I can see your point on it being "wanky".
25 Minutes Over Holly (the first LM cassette) did feel a bit improvised in a failing way with some rushed synth delivery that felt like K may have been playing with the sampler/synth and effects for the very first time, nothing original or extraordinary. But I feel that the second tape,
Boss, was great for the most part. There were a few brief moments when it sounded like the thicker moments on Whitehouse's "Buchenwald" with a similar atmosphere (not the whole tape, just small parts of it). And yes, that Erratic Sporatacism tape,
Cut Rate was top notch.
Pleasure Fluids on the other hand have made quality material since the first release,
Amateur Pornography and have continued to do so with each consecutive release.
great label , all the releases i have are excellent .
early tapes also came with plenty of lovely text for each track..

EST most likely dubbed it from a digital master/cd-r instead of tape-to-tape like we do (always real-time speed on type IIs, but we appreciate the hinting otherwise).
Possible TFPE-related live appearance in later Spring + new releases around the same time...

All ways.
It was a nice e-mail to wake up to. Can't wait to hear what that Swollen Korps sounds like.
Did anyone out there get a chance to see the Climax Denial show in Phillidelphia that featured Liver Mortis?
P.S. Is "K" really black or is this just a dumb rumor?
Live show images that has been on web, as black as black can be. But perhaps could be given credit to never use it as "selling point" or even bring it up by himself in any way? Like most of other "non-white-male" tend to do?
there are rumors of new material soon. the website was updated a week ago to just show the mailing list address.
could the steel cock phoenix finally be rising from the ashes of endless whores?

This is what makes me respect artist, the fact that he gives the focus to his work and pull it to himself. Of course, there is always a level of 'me' when dealing with personal interests but not in a way that feels like the person is going 'look, im such a unique snowflake because i sample bdsm flicks on my noise', heh. Although, non-whites might find the more extreme side of pe to be bit intimidating scene to get into, hah.
GREAT LABEL
from what i heard
only have Liver mortis-Cut Rate
Great filthy noise like MO, one of the best recent Power electronic release i've heard. wish i could hear more
fuck happened to them??
Liver Mortis "The Ideal Pain-Forms" tape
Seemed good time to return to some of these. As mentioned in some posts before, I felt that two first Liver Mortis tapes were quite wanky. Like fooling around with groove-box type synths. This tape already lives up to expectations of "italian style pe". Very simply by nature. Few elements per track. Delay effect, electronics, rawer sound. One could also refer to UK projects like S.P.I.T.E. or instrumental Ramleh noise. This was released as private edition, folded one sided xerox makes envelope holding inside one-sider tape. Now soon 10 years later, perhaps further reissue program would be nice...
Oh shit..... Where did you get that?
Edit: BTW, still looking for these, if anyone is holding.....
CS05 Pleasure Fluids - Scenes Of Consequence (I have a gutter edition that I can/will send to you as a part of whatever deal we can make)
CS01P Liver Mortis - Pleasure Ground / Master Coming (I would also like the gutter edition of this particular release)
CDr01 Pleasure Fluids - Paraesthesia Of Sexual Feeling (Perversion Of Sexual Instinkt)
Bump. Still looking.

I wonder what happened to their Tumblr? In any case the last I have seen TF/PE actually addressingwas on my forums back in 2013:

Mr. Pleasure Fluids ("white half") is the only one shipping anything at present, when he's able to at least. I'm guessing he's not online often.
I did a house show a couple years back, but I stopped selling tapes because all my tape decks & four-tracks are worn to a nub. Barely care enough to hunt around and find new ones. What's the use anyway in duping seven-year-old C60s for collector whores who probably listen to fucking Cold Cave? Anybody who was genuinely into what TFPE did would've just saved their $$$ for the "Necrosi Statica" and Swastika Kommando reissue LPs instead, or at least "Wake in Fright" and "Rolling Thunder" on blu-ray.
Save yourself, kill them all,

Pleasure Fluids will be releasing something sooner or later. There could be a final release on his label then anything else will be on Finders (I believe that is what I was told). Information will be coming eventually.

Not necessarily. I've come across the CD-R a couple times. I just wasn't willing to pay the inflated price. I'll get them all eventually. I'm a patient man.
