New noise, experimental, and electronic arrivals for 8/1/24:

1. Nate Powell of Cincinnati, notable for the great Ploughshare project, dropped off copies of a few of his CDr titles both on his own Infinite Undoing Tapes label, along with a recent Dead Gods release.

2. German industrial & noise powerhouse Aussaat has sent us copies of a recent Pacific 231 CD.

3. We have copies of the 8th issue of Untitled Zine, an awesome publication covering a wide variety of experimental sound and art, including features on Jeph Jerman, Will Kemper of PRESSORTAPE, Jazzhand, and more.

4. Detachment Programs sent over copies of new cassette titles from E.N.F., Cheat Day, Mallard Theory, and Archaic Ruins/Youth Mounts The Barricade.

5. While on tour last month, a mandatory trip to RRRecords led to the acquisition of several RRRecycled titles including tapes from Merzbow, Macronympha, Masonna, and many more.

6. Also picked up at RRR were some new old-stock copies of an Aube/The Haters split CD released on Freak Animal in the late 90's.

7. The mysterious Head Meat label, responsible for last year's incredible Ants In The Afterbirth tape, are back again with two new and equally-high quality cassette titles from Outdoor Horse Shrine and Executionists.

8. Finnish free jazz/music label Ultraääni stocked us with reissues from Oiro Pena and Ville Lähteenmäki Trio and more.

9. Premier Los Angeles harsh noise imprint Oxen sent over copies of a new Death Dedication CD full-length, plus a cassette from Ghost Dance.

10. Last but not least, we have a restock of volumes 2-5 of the legendary Noise Widow zine, which is mandatory for any noise fan if you're seeking a good laugh (and perhaps an ego check) through the form of excellent and thoughtful writing.

New noise, experimental, electronic, etc. arrivals for 8/9/24:

1. We grabbed several great titles from Gracious Host and Prime Ruin while on tour last month, including titles from Aaron Dilloway, Donna Parker, Flesh Shuddering, Alex York and more.

2. Tribe Tapes sent over essential CD reissues from Slacking, Randy Greif, Big City Orchestra, and Die Sonne Satan.

3. Following a live performance at the shop in early June, Seymour Glass and Sailor Beware dropped off copies of several of their quirky releases.

4. Fusty stocked us with copies of the massive David Gilden - Texas Pillbox 18xCD box, an immaculate collection of nearly every recorded work from the late, great American noise legend David Gilden. Priced at $140, you get a lot of great noise bang for your buck with this one.

5. We are now sold out of the leftovers of the standard edition of the Outdoor Horse Shrine/Heat Signature tour cs release, but are expecting copies of the special edition soon so stay tuned!

6. Rose Actor-Engel aka Apologist left us with some of her titles after an amazing performance alongside tour partner Leila Boredreuil at the final show at our current shop location last month.

7. Dayton lo-fi pop mastermind Sam Stansfield restocked us with more copies of his very awesome "Frown Of Sorrow" cs.

8. A label shrouded in much-needed mystery, Heat Meat, sent over more copies of the incredible Ants In The Afterbirth tape.

9. Dada Drumming stocked us with some of the final remaining copies of Heat Signature's "Brain On War" CD.

10. Lastly, we got a big 'ol restock of Crank Sturgeon contact mics and noise-making devices, which are all built with the highest quality and creative spirit.

New noise, experimental, and electronic arrivals for 9/18/24!

1. Handmade Birds continues on with an incredibly productive 2024 with another batch of tapes, this time from their Black Alchemy series. The batch includes titles from Straight Panic, Kevin Drumm, Total Sweetheart, Iugula Thor, Fleshlicker, Sissy Spacek, and more.

2. Hanson Records sent us a big box of restocks and new titles, including the Dilloway/Cage - Rozart Mix LP, along with tapes from Dilloway and Leila Bordreuil.

3. The excellent Pain Factory 4xDVD, a compilation of live and pre-recorded performances and video pieces appearing on the Pain Factory public access TV show, was reissued by Spastik Visuals. Works from Killer Bug, Taint, Stimbox, Crawl Unit, Macronympha, and many more are present.

4. Canada's Absurd Exposition label stocked us with new titles from Arthur Canterbury, Death Glaze, and the Quadrist 4-way split with Slacking, Jute, Systems., and Toanche Dwelling.

5. Copies of "America's Greatest Noise", the excellent book written by Frans de Waard focusing on American noise icon Emil Beaulieau from RRRecords continue to get restocked in the shop.

6. Throne Heap sent over more copies of the Sewer Election/Incipientium "Sorceress" CD, along with restocks from Allegory Chapel Ltd. and Harness.

7. Premier European noise bastion White Centipede Noise stocked us with new CD releases from The Rita, Jim Haynes, Treriksröset, Primitive Isolation Tactics, and Maranata, along with a new Treriksröset long sleeve.

8. Phage Tapes sent over a massive box of titles from God Is War, Mania, Seepage, AMK, Controlled Death, and many more.

9. The mysterious Head Meat label sent over more copies of excellent tapes from Outdoor Horse Shrine and Executionists.

10. Lastly, Japanese imprint Advaita Records stocked us with copies of the much-needed reissue of OVMN's 1996 album "Hard Driven Resonance".

1. Finnish label Satatuhatta stocked us with a spread of their fine cassette, CD, and vinyl titles, including works from Kjostad, Free Tala, Impakt, Green Tea, Violent Shogun, and more.

2. Auris Apothecary sent over a big box of their perfectly-presented and varied releases, including a Pi soundtrack cassette, a sandpaper anti-record from Unholy Triforce, amongst many other awesome things.

3. Staring Contest, the duo of Zac Davis and Stewart Skinner, present their debut release in the form of a 7" housed in a birdseed sleeve courtesy of Useful Artists.

4. Swampland stocked us with some white-hot noise blasters from Ex-Jesus, Grey Velvet, and Moth Drakula.

5. Detachment Programs sent over a batch of new tapes from Max Julian Eastman, Solar Yolk, Anxiety Star, and more.

6. Handmade Birds stocked us with more copies of their recent Critical Fabric - Black Alchemy series, including titles from Kevin Drumm, Iugula-Thor, Straight Panic, JSH, and more.

7. Input Error sent over new discs from John Olson, Taming Power, and Dressing.

8. Aussaat stoked us with copies of the new Rotat CD lovingly packaged in a metal tin.

9. Helicopter/Troniks stocked us a slew of great noise CDs, including titles from The Cherry Point, John Wiese, K2, Merzbow, and more.

10. Finally, Gabi Losoncy's "Lieutenant" LP is almost always available at the shop.

Not-so-new noise, electronic, and experimental arrivals for 12/4/24:

1. Orange Milk Records dropped off copies of the "Night Of Fire" LP from the enigmatically-named —__—___; it doesn't have the same ring as the Prince symbol but this group does do some mind-scratching work!

2. Finnish label Pica Disk sent over some of the new Omit "Enclosures 2011-2016" 5xCD set, a nice collection of some otherwise hard-to-find
abstract electronics.

3. We now have copies of the Barstool Mountain "Tom" cs, a wonderfully-presented magnetic tape offering from the mind of Altar Of Flies.

4. White Centipede Noise sent us copies of the Ochu "Dry Routine" LP, complete with coffee-stained jackets. What a cool brew of sound and art!

5. Buried In Slag And Debris. stocked us with copies of the great new Jeph Jerman "Burn-im-rag" LP.

6. Hospital Productions provided a much-needed collection of obscure American noise project 666 Volt Battery Noise, in the form of a 9xCD set called "Unblind Discipline Power Annihilate Survive".

7. Italy's Urashima always comes through with the great reissues of the noise & industrial days of yore, including titles from Atrax Morgue, Masonna, Violent Onsen Geisha, and more!

8. Mistape stocked us with the new Haters "12 45 45 12" LP to commemorate 45 years of entropy, along with copies of the Star "Hormone Lemming" 10" record.

9. Full Spectrum Records, a label offering a full spectrum of experimental, jazz, and electronic music, sent over titles from Andrew Weathers, Patrick Shiroishi, Wes Tirey, and more!

10. Lastly, Oxen continues to sand-blast your ears with two new CDs from Slit Throats and Spore Spawn.

Semi-recent noise, electronic and experimental new arrivals for 2/22/25.

1. American Tapes sent over several titles, including tapes, CDrs, and lathes from Spykes and other related AM projects. Michigan Underground Supremacy!

2. Japan's Advaita Records did a faithful reissue of the Aube "Huile Sur L'Eau" cs, originally released on the famed G.R.O.S.S. in 1995. It's not easy to achieve the aesthetic perfection of a G.R.O.S.S. release and the label did a fantastic job in recreating it.

3. A restock of the excellent Pain Factory 4xDVD, a release documenting a public access TV show from 1995-1997 that includes live performances from Killer Bug, Xome, Stimbox, Macronympha, and more, plus video art works from many other artists, is now in stock courtesy of Spastik Visuals.

4. Editions Unrelent, an imprint based out of Greensboro, NC, stocked us with noise and ambient cassette titles from Healing Factor, Shallow South, Twilight Memories Of The 3 Suns, and more.

5. Misanthropic Agenda sent over copies of new discs from In Spite Of Dreams and Moth Drakula.

6. Tribe Tapes stocked us up with several reissues and new titles from Emil Beaulieau, Zona Industriale, Randy Greif, Yksi, and more.

7. NYC's Bug Bus Piano sent over copies of their "Out Under Streets" LP, a meandering and colorforful ambient/vaporwave adventure.

8. Flag Day Recordings stocked us with several noise and experimental music discs from the likes of Scathing, Sawn Half, Tourette, and many more.

9. Local damaged sounds label FLOOR JAZZ dropped off copies of a limited 7" from Patina Wang, a single of hyper synth-pop from a Dayton-area high school student.

10. After playing a great first show at the shop back in October, we grabbed some cassettes from UK-based Outsider Art, featuring titles from touring mates Knifedoutofexistence and Secret Boyfriend.

1. Another pickup after our first show at the ship this past October were some releases from experimental music legend Al Margolis/If, Bwana.

2. Ryan Martin of Secret Boyfriend, another artist that performed at our inaugural show, dropped off titles from his label Hot Releases, including stuff from Secret Boyfriend, Russian Tsarlag and more.

3. Canada's Buried In Slag And Debris. label sent over copies of the excellent new Jeph Jerman LP "Burm-im-rag".

4. Japanese labels Slug Tapes and Shit-Eye Cassettes stocked us with copies of a Nikudorei/Fenian split cs, along with another Nikudorei 3" for the grind freaks.

5. No Rent Records sent over copies of the new FFH "Frozen Music" 10", along with titles from K.K. Null, Jacob Winans, and more.

6. Italian reissue label Urashima released a slew of Atrax Morgue titles that we gladly stocked on our shelves.

7. New Forces continues on with more Richard Ramirez archival releases, this time returning with the 6xCD Volume 2 set reissuing several very out-of-print cassettes.

8. We restocked several Prose Nagge releases from Mo*te, Skin Crime/The Rita, Kiran Arora, and more, all of which are the last copies from the label.

9. Advaita Records of Japan reissued an impossibly rare early Acid Mothers Temple cs titled "Freak Out", a wild and loose cosmic space-rock-noise jam recommended for fans of Rodger Stella/One Dark Eye/Silver Reich.

10. Smash Music, American noise/core label dropped off copies of tapes from Fucked Raw and Animal Pain.

1. PA-based and prolific noise label Detachment Programs sent over titles from Aggregate, Sawn Half, and Mallard Theory.

2. Local synth-pop legend Debbie DeCasio dropped off copies of her latest cassette "Music For You". Debbie has been active in the Dayton music scene since the 80's and has carved her own special niche of eccentric and personal music.

3. Another local stalwart, Matt Reis of Living Room and Developer, dropped off several noise(core) offerings at the shop.

4. Newer Cincinnati label Clangor Tapes sent over titles from Black Corolla and Gangstalker, along with a very cool and limited enamel pin celebrating the work of The Rita.

5. Handmade Birds stocked us up with a disc from experimental artist Mouth Wound.

6. After performing a great set at the shop this past December (plus screening a very cool short documentary about noise), Patrick Scott of closing. and Modern Tapes dropped off titles from Staring Problem, TVE, Fever Spell, and Nicholas Maloney.

7. We received a massive stack of newer titles and restocks from Freak Animal/Industrial Recollections, including CDs from Taint, Macronympha, Government Alpha, Grunt, Dead Body Love, and many more.

8. American Tapes sent over more Midwestern fried crud from Spykes and adjacent sound suppliers.

9. Mechanical Presence Records stocked us up with discs from Hand & Knee, Collapsing, Jericho Kane, and more.

10. Strange Therapy sent over a strange and dark operatic cassette from Santa Cecilia & Semionauta.

2. We have received a restock of the great Rumours Of Noizu book, a book about the early history of Hijokaidan and the Japanese underground written by the now-deceased David Kato Hopkins.

3. Abhorrent A.D./Philatélie sent over ambient and noise discs from Met Glass, Vincent Dallas, and Incipientium.

4. Japan's Slug Tapes provided us with copies of a cool new CD reissue of Drunk Driving's 1983 untitled cassette. DD were a pre-Missing Foundation group, a seminal NYC industrial outfit.

5. Tasmanian label Cipher Productions supplied us with some back issues of the great Night Science zine, along with titles from Hanzo Hasashi, Caligula031 & Taeter, and more.

6. Italy's Second Sleep sent over LP titles from Darksmith, Hampar Soum, Mario de Vega, and more.

7. Urashima stocked us with copies of the epic Listen And Die 6xLP box featuring tracks from Atrax Morgue, Taint, Deathpile, Bacillus, and more. Plus, copies of the excellent LP reissue of Merzbow's "Mercurated" were also included.

8. We received a box of noise discs from Oxen, featuring titles from Spore Spawn, Scathing, Incapacitants, and Knurl.

9. PRESSORTAPE stocked us with copies of new titles from The Nervous Corps + The New Blockaders, Brutal Shift + Ritual Purification, and Fleshdeveloper.

10. Cork, Ireland label Krim Kram sent a few discs over from Knurl, Bren't Lewiis Ensemble, and Adam Bohman.

2. Issues of Rocker #7 are in stock and now sold out from the label. Read interviews and articles on Jacob Winans, Romain Perrot, Monte Cazazza and more.

3. Texas king Dada Drumming stocked us with new releases from Marlon Rohl/Viper, the Samurai vs. Cowboy 2xs compilation (a fitting cowboy hat-tip to the legendary Japanese American Noise Treaty compilation), a Knurl cs, a Nikudorei & Scum collab CD, and a CD reissue of the very excellent Someone Wake The Maid It's Time To Kill The Butcher compilation.

4. Robert Fuchs sent over copies of new tapes from Winter's Treasures and YÜ//F.

5. Austin, TX label Elevator Bath stocked us with two new pieces of lush, deep ambience and abstraction from Daniela Huerta and Colin Andrew Sheffield.

6. We have copies of the very limited collaboration LP released on Industrial Coast (just 100 copies!).

7. Contemporary Finnish jazz leaders Ultraääni stocked us up with copies of titles from Oiro Pena, Pascal & Baya Race, Lauritz Skeidvolls Rapid Light, and Organic Pulse Ensemble.

8. Belgian guitarist and magnetic tapist SITKA sent over some tapes for the shop.

9. Dutch industrial label Strange Therapy sent over a hardware banger from JT Whitfield.

10. Lastly, Spleencoffin stocked us with a bevy of strangeness and experimentation from Tim Olive, Mold Omen, Human Adult Band, and more.
