OCUSB01 Oleh Koliada – The Misogynist USB Flash Drive Boxset / Digital
A bilingual autobiographical script / narrative in Ukrainian and English by Old Captain's mentor, Oleh Koliada*. The project is illustrated with the archival photos taken from the family album after the death of all the members. The script cryptically analyzes the subject of death in a morbid relation to the family conceived both literally and cinematically.
Comes in 3 versions: a USB-flash drive (wooden, logotyped) in a handcrafted wooden Box (plywood nut tree / 230 х 140 х 25, magnet lid) accompanied by an A3 cloth Poster + A3 paper Poster (matte) and a 10 Card-Set of the photographs (10 x 15, gloss lamination) featured in the script; digitally; and the special edition which includes 5 digital albums recorded by Oleh Koliada in the past two decades, thematically relevant to the subject of the project: "Motherwards", 2000; "Guernica Macrocosmica", 2003 (dedicated to his deceased mother); "Prosa Profana", 2008 (to his deceased father); "Drift in Sodom", 2012 (to his deceased brother); "Heterodox", 2016 (about himself). Limited to 50 copies.
The printed Book version is upcoming in 2022 as a part of the "Contemporary" #3 series. TBA.
