Recommendations on video makers/editors.
Preferably free or cheap. No funds for top of the chain software.

Thanks. I will play around with it.

I've tried Davinci Resolve, too, and found it quite frustrating to use. Personally, I've been using Movavi, and it's been great for my needs. It's user-friendly and has helped me understand the basics of video editing. If you're looking for something quick, Filmora is also a good option. It's not as flexible as Davinci or Lightworks, but it's less of a learning curve and won't slow down your PC. Unfortunately, I don't think they have a free plan anymore, but it's still affordable. By the way, have you heard of Vidpros? I recently discovered it, and it seems like a promising online video editing tool.

Filmora is quite okay if you only need something quick, it's not as flexible as something as Davinci or Lightworks but a lot more friendly for your PC and less of a learning curve. Play with it for an hour and you know what you can do, it's really quick. Don't think they have a free plan anymore, but it should be affordable enough.

If you're still looking for free or affordable options, there are plenty out there that can still pack a punch. For simple edits, iMovie on Mac and Windows Movie Maker on PC are both decent choices. But if you want something with more advanced features, I'd recommend checking out DaVinci Resolve, which has a free version with tons of powerful tools. And speaking of video editing, have you guys checked out https://vidpros.com/learn-secrets-hormozi-style-video-captions/ ? They have some awesome resources for learning new techniques and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in video editing. I highly recommend their article on how to create Hormozi-style video captions - it's a game-changer!

Shotcut is another free, opensoruce and easy editor. Pretty basic features but it definitely does its job.

Reaper handles video, and with some easy to install add-ons is good enough for me
