Edward Trethowan is an English artist based in Finland since 2013. His music uses mainly sampling and textural synthesis in moody expressions of the aesthetics and poetics of detritus, compost, undergrowth, and secretive wildlife in and out of water. Releases have appeared on Kaukana Väijyy Ambient, Sounds Against Humanity, Rusted Tone Recordings, Verz and others. Meanwhile he runs Bivalve, his own cassette label for split releases.
