Don't go to much on it, but seems a nice one.

Are there any discussion there, or just sharing album downloads?

There was some discussions if i remember well

I have come across the forum a couple of times, and always thought that it looked interesting.  From the looks of it, a lot of the userbase/language-used is Russian or something.  I will have to look through it more closely.

Best to run in Chrome with auto translate. I've only poked my head in there now and again as it wasn't super active, at least not in the subforums I was interested in.

Good idea.  I think I might check it out more closely.

I actually like this one quite a bit.  Not a ton of discussions per say but a lot of great reference information.  It looks like each "genre" has a specific mod that handles it.  Most of the artists covered are no brainers but from time to time you may catch a new one that you haven't heard of as of yet.  No other forum seems to be as active discussion wise as SI from what i've seen.  If you are looking for a nice blog with thoughtful reviews and suggestions I have always been partial to fuckedbynoise.blogspot.com . It covers a few different genres but most everything they cover is pretty dang golden.

Finding specific forums that specialize in music is quite difficult, so I think it makes more sense to look for threads of music on Reddit, Facebook, and Instagram. The community of musicians is close-knit; if you have a problem, other musicians will help you solve it. I was once looking for an insurance company to insure my violin. Thanks to the help of forum members, I found a terrific insurance company specializing in insuring musical instruments. My violin is very precious to me.

Most of the links work still and are regularly updated. Plenty of hard-to-find releases are shared there

That's good to know.  My only experience there had been trying to download a zine only to find that the file was no longer there.

Made me laugh. I wasn't aware the Power Electronics scene had to be a safe space.

it's moderated by the antifa supersoldier behind the laughable axebreaker project. ol' terence has recently gone on a ban spree. sad that he seems to prefer the unending stream of self promotion from projects that are not even slightly adjacent to PE.

That's cool, I've always prefered been rejected anyway.
