Less of noise that goes all the way harsh, more the odd sound collage, drum machine beats, tape edits, overall weirdness. Spoken word parts. I do rate this be in realms of noise, but it is not always abrasive and distorted, more chaostic and bizarre. Perhaps there is more of NWW, weirdo C93 and such than sheer noise elements of 90's output. Good stuff, nevertheless! This also, was reissued by Vis a Vis on tape, back in 2017, pretty much nobody seen it, not really available. CD would be nice to see!

I have bought myself the tape couple of years ago, when I was in a consistent Smell & Quim "rush". Great and bizarre stuff, quite different from the following more aggressive and "delirious" harsh noise and rather experimental to the extreme and absolutely out of the schemes. A repress would be due, yes.

I see that the Wonderland Media big cartel seems to still be up AND that the "Atom Heart Motherfucker" LP still seems to be for sale...does anybody know if it's actually safe to grab up a copy of this? Felt like the label went silent a few years back.

...also I don't think the following interview has been linked up in this thread yet - and it's truly an amazing read.

About three or four years ago Steve Underwood asked me to interview every past and present member of Smell & Quim with an eye to a future article for As Loud As Possible. I readily agreed, with hindsight not realising the enormity of the task ahead of me. After I'd attempted to interview Neil Campbell and Paul Walsh in a busy Friday night pub in Mirfield I realised my task was even more futile. What I did manage to get down was a few questions thrown at the following people who happened to be in the Duck & Drake on the afternoon of a gig at the WC by Ramleh.

Also CD reissue of "The Yellow Album" is in the works as well

Will this ever see the light of day or has it been shelved?
