Cérebro Morto will release, by mid-March, an album by
Maurizio Bianchi, a historic musician whose career as decisively shaped the underground Industrial and Noise music.
Active since 1979 (first as
Sacher-Pelz), Bianchi's works diverged from the traditional Industrial approach, becoming a musical reference for the decades to come. Influenced by early tape experiments like those done in Musique Concrète, he tried to express his view of a modern decaying society, by experimenting with electronics and tapes. By the mid 1980's he decided to stop, only returning to music in the late 1990's. His works were now heavily influenced by Minimalism and spirituality.
Maurizio Bianchi is a Noise reference, alongside contemporary Italian acts like
Mauthausen Orchestra, and the historic
Broken Flag label.
